Pros:

La possibilité de mettre la moto dans le garage. Bonne communication par WhatsApp même si femme de ménage sur place ne parle pas Anglais. Lave-linge et sèche linge disponibles et gratuits.

Cons:

Logement sale, climatisation fonctionne mais pas entretenue, porte terrasse ne ferme pas correctement et grand jour sur le haut donc isolation à revoir. Une seule chaise dans un logement prévu pour 2 avec cuisine. Serviettes sales et/ou déchirées. Robinet cuisine pas fixé.

Cons:

Not very clean and pictures from the place was not very accurate. I believe we got another room than booked. Bathroom not in very good condition. It said cooking facilities but you must go out and buy pots and pans then as nothing besides plates were there..
Intermittent lights in the room. Not sure why.

Cons:

Khó tìm
Bãi xe chật rất khó ra vô
Phòng không có tiện nghi cơ bản( dép, nước uống, khăn rách, không dầu gội, quạt hỏng...). Nhìn chung như căn phòng hoang
Vệ sinh rất kém
Với 400k chúng ta xứng đáng một nơi tốt hơn
Chủ nhà ko có ý muốn cải thiện

I had a great time walking around the district, enjoying the food, bars, cafes and general vibes.
Pros:

I loved the location as it has so many restaurants and bars. The local community were beautiful people, the staff were super lovely and who I took to be the head honcho was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with on every level.

Cons:

What could have been better was the general decor of the room. In my view it could do with a little TLC and a touch of a modern upgrade... Just a touch. I feel if Du Homestay were to pay attention to the minor details such a fresh paint job etc? This place with all Binh Tanh has to offer will receive plenty of bookings in the future.

Mediocre old apartment
Pros:

It's in a quiet and accessible neighborhood, not too far from the main areas. Lots of green space for walking nearby. The unit itself was spacious enough but under utilized. Simple and easy check in process, no contact with the owner - just a door key. The host was helpful when I didn't have exact money to pay for the room, though they only communicated by message and not in person.

Cons:

Not as kept as the pictures. It felt like I walked Into someone's old apartment. The balcony had broken furniture pushed to the side, cooking appliances were non existing (thought they provide a hot plate), and the bedsheets were very stained. Very basic level of cleaning and functioning appliances. The apartment had potential, I'd just wish they took a weekend to clean it and add new linens. The price seemed to be set based on the balcony size, but it was wasted space anyways.

Budget place that gets the job done if you’re ok with a lack of cleanliness
Pros:

The location is good and it’s inexpensive

Cons:

It’s not a clean property and the amenities are either lacking or very dirty. There was quite a large problem with ants and although they told me they would clean the place whilst I was there they never did so. On the plus side, they were polite and apologetic about it.
The WiFi is not good.

Nice neighbourhood and owner, but could be better maintained.
Pros:

The position is great, in a local and very lively neighbourhood, just a 15 minutes walk from district one and surrounded by al sorts of great food, markets and cafes.
The owner is very kind, she answers quickly to the messages and is there to help.
The room is bright and big, and has nice window proportions.

Cons:

The room would need more maintenance. The mattress is old and not very comfortable. The windows would need cleaning. The kitchen is not very well equipped, which is fine as no one cooks at home in Saigon but it seems there are random things in the drawers and that gives a sense of lack of care. The room was also very dusty when I entered, and the general cleaning could be improved.
