Difficult to find, I suggest to get the address in Chinese to show to drivers

I would certainly stay here again.
Pros:

The location was great! An easy walk to the city wall. The place was modern and very clean. The rooms are a generous size.

Cons:

Despite a great amount of English signage including on the staff uniform, very few of the staff spoke English. Fortunately we had a translation app.

Pros:

The staff were exceptionally helpful and very patient, using translator apps. Nothing was too much trouble. I stayed in 2 bedrooms during my stay, and both were clean, well-appointed and the beds were super comfy. The hotel has a amall street entrance but the hotel rooms are large and modern. Cats, cats, cats : real ones and as an overall theme. Loved it.

Cons:

I could leave my luggage at the hotel however it was not secured and was in the public domain. Leave at your own risk.

Disappointing
Pros:

Nothing much that I like about this hotel

Cons:

The room had residual cigarette. smoke smell. We asked the staffs to have it cleaned. But, she said, nothing much can be done. That was disappointing. We particularly requested for a non smoking room. The room was not spacious too. Struggled to find space for our suit cases.

Breakfast was also disappointing. It could only be served from 7.30 am which was quite late! Many of us needed to take day tour to Terracotta and the tour required us to meet early. So, we requested for breakfast to be packed. But, the recep staff said that their Chef arrived at 7.30 am only. So, we can only get plain white bread slices, ambient yoghurt and banana. Oh well. By they way, breakfast was not buffet. We ordered based on a menu. Coffee was quite bad. We had to order from Luckin nearby. Haha

Sehr viel Platz in Xi’an
Pros:

Wir hatten ein Suite mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern gebucht. Die Suite war sehr schön, gemütlich und komfortabel. Toller Preis!

Cons:

Im Nachbarzimmer wurde so stark geraucht, obwohl es ein Nichtraucher-Hotel ist, dass es über die Lüftungsschächte bei uns ekelhaft gestunken hat. Insbesondere in der Nacht! Das Personal wirkte gelangweilt und war nicht besonders motiviert. Den Butlerservice den sie beschreiben, gibt es nicht!

Reeked of cigarette smoke, avoid!
Pros:

Location is great

Cons:

Corridors and our room reeked of cigarette smoke. We asked to change rooms as our initial room stank of cigarette smoke, even if it is supposedly a non-smoking hotel. Second room was fine until 1am in the morning when we woke up choking due to cigarette smoke coming into our room from the ensuite bathroom ventilation. It was so bad it stung our eyes and I thought I was going to vomit. Fortunately we had two other bedrooms we could retreat to. Front desk staff were apologectic but hotel manager, who they communicated with on the phone, was hostile, rude and when I asked for a full refund said we would have to leave the hotel immediately. We were travelling with two children so I said no, we will leave first thing in the morning. This discussion went back and forth for 2 hours. I contacted Booking.com via phone and while their customer service officer was sympathetic, he said the only thing they could do was request a full refund but if the manager refused, they couldn't process the refund etc. Long story short, we received a full refund but it was the most unnecessarily stressful experience I have had using Booking.com and I won't be using them again for future bookings.

Huge suite and varied facilities - cats, art and gaming!

Big suites. Gaming consoles were a treat for the kids.

Cons:

Service so so. Lobby not on ground floor - not that this really matters but overall gives it a different feel.

Helpful staff
Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful - we left some items in our room and they arranged for them to be forwarded on to our next hotel. The room was clean with good facilities and the location was within walking distance to the city wall.

Wonderful, comfortable, and convenient stay
Pros:

Everything is amazing! The rooms are modern and clean and very comfortable! I was amazed when I walked in as the price was very reasonable. The location is good too as the city wall and Drum tower within walking distance as well as the subway. I would return to this hotel.

Nothing. It was all great.

Perfect place to stay in Xi’an
Pros:

The staff were incredibly helpful and the accomodation was perfect. It’s situated on top of a convenience store and also a bunch of restaurants within a minute distance! The wall is a 15 minute walk away which is really convenient as well. I would highly recommend staying here!

Pros:

Everything was acceptable.

Cons:

Our sink did not work. We told them, they repaired it, but it only worked until evening. However my biggest complaint regards cats. Six cats are enclosed in an aquarium maybe 7 squares meters big. I think cats should roam the hotel and if you don’t like cats choose another hotel. So all in all a very mediocre experience.
