Pros:

Beautiful apartment with lovely views.

Cons:

My stay had a major issue with communication, which unfortunately caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

When I arrived at the apartment, the door was unlocked and there was no one there to orientate me. I could not find the key anywhere obvious and checked multiple drawers and the kitchen area without success. I tried contacting the landlady more than 10 times via both WhatsApp and phone calls, but there was no response. I also attempted to get assistance through Booking.com, but there was no alternative contact number available.

This was particularly stressful as I had an important event to attend and did not feel comfortable leaving the apartment unlocked. The orientation message and email I received did not mention anything about where to find the key or whether I would be meeting someone in person.

Eventually, I found the key placed in the balcony door. The landlady did return my call later and explained she had been in an area with poor signal, which is understandable. However, situations like this highlight the importance of providing backup contact options and clearly communicating key collection instructions in advance.

With better communication and clearer instructions, this experience could have been much smoother.

A Gem in Midrand
Pros:

One of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever seen if not the best. It smells very nice, beautiful outdoor sitting as well in a nice garden, I have nothing but love for this place and they are always there to respond to your every request.

Cons:

Nothing I didn't like, I didn't give 10/10 only because I believe everything in life can always be improved...otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

Wonderfull experience again, would reccomend the unit to get an aircon

Home away from home, value for money and going to see me again.
Pros:

This is the best place at Ellipse I stayed so far, having a garden to walk outside was great. The place felt like home. The host was amazing and easy to get into the unit. Would definitely stay here again.
