Great location and facilities, spacious apartment but not very clean
Pros:

Great location, nearby Walmart and other shops, restaurants and city center only 10 minutes away. The rooftop area and pool are great. The owner responded quickly and was able to help most of the times.

Cons:

The apartment was definitely not clean or cleaned very poorly. There were insects crawling around the kitchen and small dining area. They do not have/offer cleaning service. But there’s a Walmart nearby and we were able to buy cleaning supply to clean everything. So it would be great if they can offer a cleaning service or something in the future. And the bed is very hard and can definitely use a soft matras topper or a more comfortable matras.

Beware! Property Owner Threats
Pros:

Let me start this review off with the PROS. The location of the property is awesome and conveniently located, especially for the cost.

Cons:

I visited Playa Del Carmen March 6th-21st for some dental work.
Let me start this review off with the PROS. The location of the property is awesome and conveniently located, especially for the cost.

CONS
-door access code issues (multiple days in a row)

-elevator to access the floor is broken (stayed on the 3rd floor)

-construction right next door to our room and overhead from 8am-7pm daily

-Construction dust (causing asthma flare)

-Room is dusty and not properly cleaned

-bugs eating wood furniture in the room causing dust to cover the floor and walls (allergy concerns)

-over calcified shower head and broken sink. Water barely trickles out of the shower head and water shoots aggressively out of the bathroom sink.

-the owner of the property personally sent me threatening messages and canceled the reservation early after I contacted Booking.com about my concerns.  

-The owner has also threatened other customers in the past to break into their rooms with the access code

As a female traveler, I felt unsafe on night 2, so made accommodations for another location, and the property owner refused to refund my money for the nights after I vacated the condo (12 remaining nights). 

I am sure the property manager will make excuses for the complications/issues I documented and try to dispute them or offer an insincere apology, but I have no interest in this. My only interest is in warning potential travelers, I'd hate to have anyone in the terrible situation I was in. Please BEWARE!

There’s much better places to stay for that price.
Pros:

The location is as ok. The swimming pool was nice!

Cons:

There’s a construction going on next to the building so it’s very noisy from 8am onwards. The room looks nicer in the photos than in reality. There’s no one to help with the suitcases (stairs to get into the main building). No cleaning service included. The view from the balcony is not nice.

Very good choice and quiet area
Pros:

Spectacular location very close to good restaurants , right next to huge Walmart and many other groceries stores also walking distance to the beach and Quinta Avenida .
