Great location, but poorly maintained villa. Many other options at this resort are much better.
Pros:

Property is located at the Tesoro Resort. It is a decent place to stay and has many amenities. Great beach location and nice pool. Main restaurant is good, but snack bar or lunch shop by the pool is not good. Bar in the lobby is nice.

Cons:

The Villa #2 we rented is in disrepair. The main door has a funky lock that is a bit tricky to open. The sliding glass door is broken and does not lock. Anyone can walk right into the villa. We found pieces of furniture to place in the tracks and barricade the door. This villa needs a major updating and repairing of lots of broken or worn out items. The kitchen is not very clean. I would not stay here again.

Pros:

the access to the beach and cleanest of the facilities

Cons:

stove didn’t work, not enough toilet paper provided, refrigerator smelled like fish. Also, there are no chairs available to seat around the pool or beach, people reserve the chairs but don’t use them.
