Pros:

The hotel is in a great central location near all the main sites. The room decor felt a little old-fashioned, but it was comfortable enough for our stay. My only complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak.

Pros:

Property was well located in the old quarters and close to many bus tour drop off and pick up points. We only had a short stay here, but staff were very helpful and friendly - the new manager was there to greet us and offer assistance in booking airport transport, tours and anything else we needed.

Fine if you have to stay there, but I wouldn't recommend
Pros:

Breakfast was nice enough, and they make items a la carte as well which is good. Location was central.

Cons:

The air-conditioning in our room didn't work so the room smelt musty and was super hot. While staff were responsive, they never actually resolved the issue so we were thrilled to leave this hotel.

Separately, we used the hotel's travel services to book a tour to Halong Bay and were really disappointed in the service we received - it was really busy and over crowded, they foisted multiple commerical "rest" stops on us at shops to upsell us on products which I imagine the tour operator gets a cut of, and which meant we finished the tour an hour late.

Hanoi Lake view and Spa - great location for those on a budget.
Pros:

Although this is most definitely a budget hotel, which is what we wanted, The location is perfect. It was not as noisy as we expected for the old quarter. Easy walking distance to everything. And the staff were really friendly. Included breakfast was was fair for price.

Hôtel Ha Noï lake view
Pros:

L'emplacement de l'hôtel, très central, près du petit lac. Le personnel était très sympathique et aidants pour taxi pour Sapa ou la réservation baie d'Halong

Cons:

Pas grand chose, tout était parfait

Pros:

Localização excelente,próximo a boa parte das atrações de Hanói a pé, café da manhã muito bom e atendimento fantástico. Saímos para o aeroporto as 6 da manhã e o café da manhã só começa às 7:30h e eles preparam dois box com fruta e sanduíche para comermos no caminho.
