The views, the amazing service by Max, the superb waitstaff, the awesome cleaners, the pool, the AWESOME FOOD & COCKTAILS, the quiet location… the classy rooms. The nakedness of it all…
Having to walk up and down the hill each time you go out, but budget for taxis and easy to walk down and taxi back.
Great staff with special mention of the receptionist - Marco I think - who was extremely helpful. He put us in a room with fab view on the sea.
The place could benefit from some refresh (lick of paint, fixing of defective lights or other stuff…). Also limited service (no drinks / bar after 19h) which made it feel a bit less lively . Could increase price/value proposition.

Its just an incredible relaxing place
Great location a bit away from the noise and the crowds yet super close to the beaches (15 mins walk). It’s the only hotel on the hills that has actually a bit of a community soul. We visited the others around and there are more like proper hotels whereas this one sees a lot of interactions between guests.
The pool area and the yoga area are pretty magical, and the rooms with terrace are fantastic.
Accra to a very secluded small beach down the hotel is a secret magical touch that makes it perfect.
No option to have dinner in the evening or even drinks, but Maquil next door is a fantastic restaurant.
Fantastic nude-friendly stay! The views from the room and the newly upgraded pool were spectacular. The room was perfectly laid out with a comfy bed, a bidet, mini fridge and plenty of space for suitcases.
Max was incredibly helpful with all our bookings and recommendations. The vibe was chill and friendly, and as a couple in our 30's, the stairs and 8-10 minute walk into town were no problem at all. We’d definitely come back!
The staff were friendly and did their jobs well. The view from many rooms and common areas is lovely. The restaurant has vegetarian options.
The property is on a hillside and depending on where your room is, you might have to walk up and down a lot of stairs.

The rooms were very spacious and well positioned for incredible views.
A few movable umbrellas could’ve helped provide some additional shade around the pool and on balconies.

La atención del personal es estupenda, ese fue el punto central para disfrutar la estancia, todos y todas sin excepción. La ubicación es una zona tranquila y La vista del Hotel es espectacular, por lo que vale la pena caminar un poco más para llegar a la playa y la calle principal. En cuanto a las instalaciones, la zona de la piscina es de primera y las habitaciones son espaciosas y confortables.
La habitación requiere mosquiteros en la ventana del baño y en la puerta principal.
The setting and design of the hotel is beautiful. The view is amazing, the rooms are well designed and you are just a short walk from the beach. There was an issue with the water at one point but the staff were very helpful and got it fixed.
Nothing. Just worth noting that the restaurant closes at 5pm. Also that there are regular infrastructure issues in Oaxaca, e.g. electrical and water problems. The hotel works hard to manage these but they may occur.
Loved the private, quiet location melding into the cliff face a short walk away from the main Zipolete beach. I also loved my spacious, airy and stylish, well appointed room. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in and the view over the green plants and trees to the sea, priceless Max and his team are exceptional. Everyone super friendly and happy to be working together. Breakfast down by the pool is the best. I’d make a return booking in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
