Location was great. Bathroom was great and lots of amenities provided.
Felt seedy. Couldn’t see receptions face. No hotel reception facilities that others offer (like luggage forwarding).
The location is fairly close to the Higashi-Shinjuku metro station on the Oedo line, which is a decent line. The walk to Shinjuku station is rather far if you are taking luggage. The hotel is easy to find. Room size is larger than average for Japan. The water pressure is amazing - this is a great place if you like showers with plenty of water. This is/was a "love hotel" and there are still signs of that - the video monitor in the lobby shows available rooms, and the check-in counter is behind a tinted window. And there are adult videos on the (free) TV. The room included a nice-sized Jacuzzi bath and a small dry sauna, which were great features. I had a few requests and there were staff members that could speak English. If you have ever wanted to try a love hotel but felt a little intimidated, this is a great choice - very foreigner-friendly. I felt very comfortable and safe in the area.
The hotel is starting to show its age in a few spots, but nothing significant. I would stay here again.
Lots of space
Cheap bedding, gets too warm easily
Close to restaurants bars and the metro
Loved the sauna and jacuzzi in the room
The entrance was a bit odd, not being able to see the staff’s face when checking in was a bit weird
Also having to return the room key when leaving the hotel made me feel a bit uncomfortable
Regardless everyone was very accommodating
Perfect location, room was great, hot tub, sauna ,karaoke ,we had never stayed in a love hotel before and were a bit hesitant to book it so glad we did ,it wasn’t seedy and we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all for our 4 day stay, would definitely recommend it
Nothing
Normally I have a good time relaxing in the jacuzzi and sauna but this time it was a disappointment.
No power for an entire night, originally when I asked about a refund they told me I would have to check out. Eventually they did refund my stay but they did not offer the refund until they ended up being overnight with no power and no air conditioning. After 4 hours without power they should have already told me they would give me a refund.
It was very luxurious and clean. They had a full spa and sauna in the room. It's a good treat to do when travelling solo and more affordable than hotels.
The hotel is around the corner from a few 7-11 stores, subway entrances, and of course Don Quijote. You don't have to go far from this hotel to find great food. Also it's on a block with several vending machines. So if you definitely don't want to walk to a store for drinks, that's also an option
