Perfect appartement in centrum Makati met mooi zwembad
Pros:

Goede locatie. Zwembad waar je gratis naartoe kan (bij aankomst krijg je tickets van de host).
Supermarkt en restaurants op de begane grond. Heel mooi uitzicht. Klein appartement maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

Cons:

Nagenoeg geen licht in de woonkamer, je kijkt recht in het huis van de buren.

Belle vue et appartement confortable
Pros:

L'appartement se situe dans un quartier sympathique et dans un immeuble de standing. La propriétaire et son assistante sont très réactives et gentilles. L'appartement était bien équipé et propre. Il se situe juste au dessus d'un petit centre commercial avec des restaurants.
L'appartement dispose d'une belle vue sur Manille

Cons:

L'accès à la piscine est payant. Et une des piscines étaient fermées.

Hervorragende Unterkunft
Pros:

Ein schön eingerichtetes Appartement im 57. Stock in einer gated community im Stadtteil Makati mit zwei Schlafzimmern, Wohnzimmer, kleiner Küche und AC. Vom Flur vor dem Appartement kann man übrigens hervorragend den Sonnenuntergang über der Bucht von Manila genießen. In der Anlage gibt es unter anderem einen Swimmingpool zum Relaxen, außerdem eine Mall mit Restaurants (Tipp: unbedingt ins Sushi-Restaurant gehen) und Supermarkt. Durch die anwesende Security haben wir uns immer sicher gefühlt. Eine LRT-Bahnstation ist gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war hervorragend. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Gerne wieder!

So read this before you book this place or any place which is privately hosted in Metro Manila.

Starting with the wifi, there was none available. No TV. Owner said it was going to be fixed but after a day, it wasn't. I was not notified about this at all, guess the owner waited for me to find out 🤔

Found a bad smell in the 2nd bed room on the first night. Thought if I open up the windows a little bit, it will go away. Well, it didn't. Instead, it started to get worse. By the next morning, it was unbearable. I went out for shopping and when I came back after 3 hours of sitting in the traffic, exhausted, opened up the door while the caretaker was standing there (which I appreciate that she waited for me about an hour while I was stuck in the traffic), we couldn't breathe. Even she didn't say anything comforting. I packed my bag in 5 minutes and left.

It wasn't rocket science for me to understand that this wasn't a 5 minutes or an hour fix no matter how much the owner claims. This was a sewage leak on the 57th floor.

We walked 25 minutes in the wet weather with the family with 5 luggages because there were no taxi or grab or any public transport available due to the heavy traffic on the road.
I won't forget that painful experience.

For a 3 days stay, I didn't get any refund from booking for the 2 nights that we couldn't stay. Big clap for them. 👏

This is understandable as they make money from the properties and clearly not very keen to help the customers. One goes, another will come.

We go places for holidays and presumably, we are rich.
