Enjoyable, pity I was there on business.
Pros:

Great food and breakfast. Fantastic location next to salt marsh nature - binoculars provided in the room for birdwatching. I'm guessing might be rather hectic in the summer though.

Very relaxed.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent; flexible choices and very efficient service. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

Cons:

The bed was fairly small. The lighting in the hallway outside our room could not be lowered.

Lovely stay with the kids
Pros:

Lovely cottage attached to the pub, with great breakfast and very friendly staff. They called in advance to make sure the bed configuration was perfect and everything went smoothly!

Great location especially for lovers of nature and birds
Pros:

Excellent location right by the area we wanted to walk in and adjoining the RSPB site. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Food very good and well presented.

Cons:

Lighting in the bedroom was only just adequate to read by - not everybody wants to watch tv - and I couldn't get my bedside light to work at all!

A lovely place but not quite a five star experience
Pros:

Set in a very picturesque area on the edge of a nature reserve. The restaurant food is outstanding and the staff polite and friendly.

Cons:

Not sure it’s a five star hotel. The room was very small and the bed and pillows rather too soft.

The only issue experienced was the lack of WiFi in all areas of the building, especially on the upper levels in the bedrooms

Probably the best fish restaurant we have eaten in and very nice people, rooms and place!
Pros:

We have stayed before and made it part of our journey from Kent to Bristol because we liked the food in the restaurant so much
