Varuna Palace Varanasi , Near Mandir & Ghat's

Prem and Anita made us feel very welcome and at home. Every morning they prepared breakfast for us in their own living room. Prem also took us on a guided tour around the old city and the ghats. He knows the place very well and is fun to spend time with. He showed us every nook and cranny that the city has to offer, many such places are not even listed in the guidebook and everything we saw was accompanied with an explanation or story. We normally don't hire guides, but in this case we highly recommend it, since as a foreigner you don't know the rules, the customs and the possibilities at such a place of special religious significance as Varanasi. You won't regret it!

Absolutely yes, the facility is super cosy, feel at home. It was a beautiful stay. Very good breakfast.

Very neat and clean and also safe for family and couple easy to reach and easy to visit any place of varanasi. calm place and also nature friendly room.

Prem is welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. His wife's chai and breakfasts are amazing. 10nmin rise from train station, 15 min to ghats, 55 minwalk.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Varanasi. It had such a nice, homely atmosphere, and Prem really made me feel welcome, like I was right at home. He was incredibly helpful, sharing his deep local knowledge, and even went out of his way to assist with my onward journey, helping me book tickets and guiding me on how to navigate my next destination. I highly recommend staying here and experiencing Prem’s wonderful hospitality. Thank you, Prem, for everything!

Me and my friend Lydia from Australia travelled from Australia and then from Rishakesh to Varanasi; the night train was delayed three hours so we arrived way later the expected wait time presh was waiting for us out the front with the biggest smile. He took us in and showed us around his beautiful place and made sure we had everything we needed. Comfortable sleep and cold AC with fan TV with excellent wifi that enabled Netflix and the lot. His wife Anitha made the nicest Indian breakfast and we sat and spoke about what ever we needed to throughout the day. Would definately reccomend and come back here if coming through Varanasi again. He can also speak French which is amazing

It was a good find given the rush of Mahakumbh in the nearby cities. The hotel management was very helpful and even arranged for nearby rooms for my family.

It was very quite and relaxing day and night as the property is set back off the main street the staff where fantastic Prem helped me book my train ticket nothing was a problem for him everything is kept so clean the breakfasts where fantastic Anitas cooking was great and the coffee I feel as this is my indian home now thank you Prem and Anita for your hospitality

Great location, assessible and central to airport, temple area and ghats. The property owner was wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms were well maintained and clean. There was however no pantry service available during our visiting time. Nonetheless it was a great experience

The room was tidy, the host made us comfortable. Though we arrived late at night he accommodated us.
