In desperate need of updates and maintenance
Pros:

The staff was amazing!! So friendly and very approachable. The location was good - walkable to the plaza and if you were feeling ambitious, canyon road.

Cons:

The facilities are crumbling, decaying, falling apart. Light fixtures and outlets were broken, not working, or missing; the TV's are sooooooo tiny (it felt like my cell phone screen had a bigger picture) and had zero smart features - which meant we couldn't watch our line up of Xmas movies on Xmas Day; the balcony door did not fully close AND it did not lock, we had to wedge a chair under the handle and hope for the best; the cold water knob leaked and the hot water for the shower was bitterly unreliable. Basically this hotel has been rode hard and put up wet. We added on champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, red wine, and fresh seasonal flowers: flowers and red wine were nice, but the strawberries were like rubber and the champagne was never delivered to us.

We had a very nice experience at the Hacienda and it helped make a our visit to Santa Fe memorable
Pros:

the room was nice sized as was the bathroom. enjoyed the fireplace. we used the hot tub on 3 of 4 nights and enjoyed that. the breakfast was always tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful. we also used the shuttle multiple times and that turned out to be a great service.

If you’re feeling it’s time to splurge and be pampered…
Pros:

The suite I stayed in was huge and spotless, complete with fireplace and balcony. I love that fresh fruit and cookies were left for me. And the wine happy hour was extra special. Bottle refill stations were really nice. The shuttle service is a tremendous added bonus though I only ended up using it once bc everything in Santa Fe is basically walking distance. I can definitely recommend this place as a splurge.

Cons:

Only that the lighting wasn’t great in the suite. Turns out this was in issue at all of the places I stayed in NM, just too dark and that made re-packing a challenge… (I definitely lost a beautiful, favorite black top somewhere and no one let me know.)

Nice hotel but rooms lack some basic things.
Pros:

Good location; loved the shuttle service; very attentive staff

Cons:

Lighting in the room and bathroom is too dim. Need an overhead/ceiling light. You need to put a mirror in the bedroom area. Having just one in the bathroom is not sufficient. Window blind on center window was broken. Room rate is high.

The property was beautiful, great location, great shuttle service downtown, and the staff was so lovely! Also took advantage of Spa services, which were outstanding!
