Friendly staff and parking good.
Dirty carpet on third floor landing, restaurant in need of deep clean and investment. Bathroom needs maintenance and fixing. Smells musty.
The food in the restaurant was and is always good. Room size was good. Pool was good
Pillows in the room weren't very good at all. Gave us a headache sleeping at night. Also the tv in the room and sky box were ancient, no smart tv, no sockets beside the bed, shower wasn't the best

Comfortable bed and great breakfast. Access to leisure facilities. Free parking. Not far from central Swansea.
A little tired e.g. bathroom shower temperature control loose and the a little mould or black bits on shower hose. Woodwork a little worn.
Breakfast was great hot lots different food to choose from,spa pool to deep for young kids went down at 4pm for swim no one at towel station had to go get room towels instead nothing explained.

I enjoyed the pool, the bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice too. The staff at breakfast were lovely.
I didn't like the receptionist who was on when I arrived not sure if she was south African or another nationality. I said I wanted to get checked in to get in & use the pool. She questioned if I had paid I said yes. She was quite abrupt, but I was stating I booked it last minute & wanted to use the pool before it shut at 9pm. She gave me a room which hadn't been used much the bathroom was shoddy & dusty too.
It’s a good location and seems to have plenty of amenities. I didn’t use the spa but it was available.
There’s a sky box in the room to watch TV but it had very poor signal and the handful of channels that worked were random ones.
There’s no plug socket near the bed so had to charge my phone on the other side of the room. Also meant when my alarm went off no doubt it woke next door up as well.
Fantastic hotel, great pool and great breakfast
Steam sauna wasn't working
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were really comfortable with nice firm mattresses and there were extra pillows in the cupboard if you needed them. An excellent shower in the bathroom with lots of space to easily move around inside. A good selection of teas and coffees in the room. The breakfast was good with a decent selection of items for the self serve continental which included croissants, toast, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt (lots of flavours), grapefruit, watermelon. For drinks there were fruit juices, water, milk and tea and coffee. This is followed by a cooked breakfast with all the usual goodies bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, beans and a choice of poached, fried or scrambled eggs all with a side of toast. They offer vegetarian options too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night break there and would happily recommend.
Would have been nice to have plug sockets on both sides of the bed. The room we had only had them on 1 side. The bathroom door in our room was a tiny bit stiff and needed a firm push to fully close but it was a very minor issue. The only other thing I would mention is the tea and coffee served with breakfast could have been hotter but I appreciate that when it's self serve you are limited to how you can keep the drinks hot. Again a very minor issue.
