Very old building that has just had a coat of paint slapped on. Thin walls. The property used to be a drug hotspot. The building smells of food, as it seems there are some long term tenants. Hallway Floors have never been washed, and in room required shoes on at all times or your feet would get soiled. Towels were stained and poorly washed, bathroom was quickly cleaned. Although this was a Wyndham property it may as well been a $20 independent motel.
Ended up getting a refund. This property was disgusting. There was hair and unknown fluids all over the room. The halls and lobby smelled like pot. We were shown a second room just as nasty and decided to leave. The staff was nice and provided suggestions for obtaining a refund.
There was a homeless man smoking a crack pipe in the parking lot and trying to get into the hotel. The 2nd floor door was broken. The room wasn’t ready after we were told it was. Smelled like weed and the beds were dirty. The whole place was smelly and dirty. We got a refund. Don’t waste your money.
The neighborhood was very marginal. Children were running up and down the hall during the night. They advertise breakfast, but they had nothing not even a coffee pot. The checkout woman didn’t even talk to me. She was too busy on the phone. I cannot recommend this and would not stay here again.
The staff was ok. The shower had no hot water and the floor was dirty. The bed was comfortable even so one side of the frame made a terrible noise. Breakfast offered was very skimpy. Waffle maker but no butter, syrup and no plates. No fruit or any kind of muffins. There was 2 pieces of bread to make toast. There wasn't any attention to the area. I love Wyndham but this property really needs some work.
Nice room and friendly staff. Thank you for making it an easy process to book and stay.
It is a $50 room. Ironing board in room but no glasses in bathroon?
Also a surprise extra $100 dollar room deposit collected at check-in
Beware that you must pay a deposit that they are not outright & upfront with you about. They steal your money & then let you know about the deposit. It’s in TINY wording in the fine print that no one reads Ever. It should outright let you know this as some people are on a fixed budget & have no wiggle room.
I’ve stayed in resorts in Hawaii & Mexico, never have I ever paid a deposit there, just paid in full & called it a day. Make it make sense that a ghetto hotel in Albuquerque requires a deposit but big time resorts don’t??
Greed.
Hole in door leading to next room on the left of my room. Also security door locking latch was missing on main door to the room.
I did not stay at this hotel, looked terrible, unsanitized, disgusting and would like a refund.
No pleasant lobby upon entering, hot and musty, check in was glass like a bank teller. I prepaid, gave card for incidentals, plus they demanded a $100. room deposit.Password was hand written causing me not being able to log in, no phone to call front desk, couldn't get air to work, air conditioner was old and print was missing, microwave didn't work, poor outlets causing fridge to malfunction..breakfast in walk-in lobby of in front of check in,and was skimpy, bread for toast, but no butter or jelly for it. No one at check out. Not a pleasant stay
The front desk lady was sooo unprofessional and rude and made my domestic violence crisis situation worse than it had to be I was so stressed and tired and traumatized by my abuser just to be belittled and inconvenienced in an already stressful situation your staff is ugly rude inconsiderate and not helpful to say the least will never step foot in a days inn again
We arrived at the building that was marked days inn and very clearly lit. The parking lot was empty and the building smelled of illicit substances. There were no employees to be found but someone inside the building told us it was no longer in operation.
The staff was very friendly but the overall feel of the property was very dirty and just not up to our normal expectations.
A dump off of the freeway with prostitutes living in their car in the parking lot, turning tricks ALL NIGHT. The hallways were covered in chalk grafitti. The food area was unsanitary. The bathroom needs maintenance and there was pink mold.
This was the worse stay I've had in the last 20 years. The hotel is filthy. Crayon type markings all over the walls in the hallway and room. There's no breakfast included to speak off, supposed to be 7-9 am, at 7:30, no coffee left and they dont refill the pot. A dozen mandarins, no bread for toast. We did stay as we were there for the Balloon Fiesta, and couldn't afford $400 a night somewhere else, we did checkout 1 day early. Dead bugs in the rooms. We switched rooms after looking at 3, it was a touch cleaner than our initial room. Come to find out, there have been several criminal activity, just 2 weeks ago, a 6 hour standoff. I cant seem to add photos below
Faucet broken, door Lock broken, hole in wall under sink, no security with outdoor doors left open
This hotel is very poorly maintained and we cancelled our reservation as soon as we walked into the lobby
Dirty
Our room had compound dust all over a long with orange writing all over the walls. The bed was on some that made a horrible noise every time you sat or got off the bed. No water, tea or coffee on the room. The ice machine broke and there was no ice on Sunday and Monday. The breakfast was horrible, if you want to call it breakfast. The hotel had a smell that only went away when you turned the a/c on. I truly made a big mistake by booking a reservation at this hotel.
The night staff that greeted us the night we arrived was nice and very helpful, a long with a few other staff members during our stay. I needed some guidance and called the hotel about ten times and no one answered the phone.
I felt that my vehicle was safe in the parking lot.
Considering I came for a special event, had to look pass the hotel and enjoy all that I did while in Albuquerque, NM.
