Hotel je nádherný, služby v reštaurácií na katastrofálnej úrovni.
Pros:

Hotel je vzhľadom na cenu za ubytovanie na veľmi vysokej úrovni. Niekto si dal poriadne záležať na jeho vyhotovení aj polohe, kde sa nachádza. Hotel je na svoj počet hviezdičiek určite na vyššej úrovni, ako by sa mohlo na prvý pohľad zdať. Izby sú dostatočne priestranné na účel lyžovačky, kde sa prídete len vyspať. Poloha je priamo pri vleku kde sa dostanete doslova pešo. Všetko v hoteli je úplne nové a určite sa tam vrátim, ale v reštaurácií sa už nikdy nenajem. Reťaz je len taká silná, ako jej najslabší článok a toto 100% platí aj pri tomto hoteli. Výhľad, celý hotel, personál na recepcii aj upratovacie služby sú na veľmi vysokej úrovni. Dal som tak zlé celkové hodnotenie preto, aby sa už nikdy nezopakovalo to, čo som zažil v reštaurácií dňa 28.03.2026 o 19-tej hodine. Dúfam, že si to všimne niekto z vedenia alebo manažér, pretože toto som nezažil ani v nahoršej krčme. Objednal som si najdrahšie jedlo, aké je možné z menu vybrať a to sirloin steak s grilovanou zeleninou za 35€ (okrem iného). Čašníčka na ktorú toto celé cielim sa volala tuším Iňa, aspoň tak na ňu volala kolegyňa. Povedal som jej výslovne, že si prajem steak rare, čo je skoro surové spracovanie. Po asi pol hodine čakania mi prišiel vysušený, horší ako well done, steak s oblohou, z ktorej by sa nenajedla ani myš. Vysušené figy, 3 hrášky a jeden malý zemiak na polovicu. Po 8 hodinách lyžovačky som bol taký hladný, že som sa do toho pustil, no ten steak sa nedal žuvať, bol taký suchý. Čakal som, že sa za hodinu pri nás zastaví čašníčka aspoň raz či dva krát opýtať, či je všetko v poriadku. Nechával som si odrezaný steak na polovicu, aby som jej ho ukázal. Čakal som márne. Smiala sa niekde v kuchyni a úplne nás ignorovala. Keďže som pre takýto prístup pochopil, že ak sa o nás nezaujíma, nedostanem ani náhradné jedlo a moju reklamáciu určite nepochopí, zjedol som polovicu steaku a manželkinu časť burgeru. Po dlhom čakaní a vyhladnutom žalúdku sa konečne dostavila opýtať, či máme všetko. Viac nižšie...

Cons:

Odpovedal som jej, že som si objednal rare steak a priniesla mi horší ako well done, či sme sa pochopili správne. Povedala, že áno počula, čo som jej povedal a je to správne jedlo. Opýtal som sa jej, či vie čo je to rare spracovanie a či to aj takto správne odovzdala informáciu kuchárovi. Povedala, že áno. Prešla ma trpezlivosť a tak som ju poprosil, aby sa pozrela na ten steak a povedala, či je to rare. Povedala mi, že pravdepodobne kuchár trošku podržal panvicu na ohni, že na to asi zabudol, že to dlhšie piekol... Zastavil som tie jej výhovorky a povedal jej, že: "Dobre, ďakujem.". V tom odišla do kuchyne, kde to povedala kuchárovi a ten sa na nás pozeral cez okienko v dverách, ako v zoo. Čakal som, že mi to možno príde vysvetliť alebo pošle nové jedlo alebo ho minimálne nezaúčtuje. Myslel som, že len išla prezistiť informáciu. Omyl, úplne nás ignorovala a už sa nevrátila. Jej čiernovlasá kolegyňa obsluhovala vedľajší stôl na tak vysokej úrovni, ako sa patrí. Niekoľko krát sa ich bola opýtať, či majú všetko, či je všetko v poriadku a to všetko s úsmevom. Iňa, s mašľou na hlave, sa už viac neukázala a tak som jej kolegyňu poprosil, či môžem zaplatiť. Účet bol na 60€. Steak bez problémov zaúčtovala, neprišla sa ospravedlniť, nesnažila sa zjemniť situáciu. Drzo, hnusne, povýšenecky mi vysvetľovala, že mám byť spokojný a mám správne jedlo. Ostal som z tohto prístupu absolútne prekvapený. Aj keď sa možno ešte vrátim do hotela, v reštaurácií už jesť nikdy nebudem. Takáto čašníčka v dnešnej dobe nemá čo robiť, v tak nádhernom hoteli, na takej úrovni. Absolútne zdegradovala kompletne celý dojem. Zničila nám romantický večer s manželkou po nádhernej lyžovačke. Ostal som hladný a ešte som minul 35€ za nič. Príloha by mala byť tiež bohatšia. Jeden maličký zemiak na polovicu je málo. Negatívne ešte hodnotím postele, ktoré strašne škrípu a v strede matraca sú veľké vyležané diery, ale dá sa vyspať.

The facilities were great, the view and the placement of the hotel was also great. Restaurant/Bar staff along with the masseuse were all super nice.

Cons:

Reception staff was clearly bored and almost passive aggressive towards us which made our stay less pleasant.

Hotel zrobił na mnie bardzo dobre wrażenie. Śniadania były przepyszne – duży wybór i wszystko świeże. Świetna pizza. Pokoje są bardzo ładne, czyste. Dodatkowo strefa SPA to ogromny atut tego miejsca – świetnie przygotowana, idealna do relaksu i odpoczynku. Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel!

Very good choice for skiers and families, excellent slope access and solid relaxation facilities.
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Zawrat Ski Resort & Spa and overall had a very good experience, especially for a ski holiday.
The location is a major advantage. The hotel is easy to reach by car and is less than 100 meters from the ski lift and chairlift — you can practically walk out of the ski room in your boots and reach the lift immediately. The area is quiet, with a pleasant view. It feels more like a rural area without a clear “downtown”; nightlife was not something we were looking for, but it also didn’t stand out as being present nearby.
The rooms are clean and well maintained on a daily basis. Budget rooms are on the smaller side but functional; for more comfort, it’s worth considering a higher category.
The spa area meets expectations — the SPA looks like in the photos and is well maintained. A nice advantage is that during the day the pool is not crowded, which is great for non-skiers.
Breakfast is a strong point: varied and good quality. For lunch and dinner, although the food is good, you might want more variety — there are restaurants within less than 1 km, so alternatives are easy to find.
The hotel is family-friendly, with a dedicated space for children. The staff is fine, and communication in English was not an issue.
In short:
• excellent access to the slopes (very close to the lift)

• clean rooms
• family-friendly
• pool is not crowded during the day

Cons:

During busy periods, parking around the hotel can become quite crowded.
The pool and jacuzzi are not very large and can feel crowded when more guests are using them.
