Localização e conforto do quarto e banheiro. Funcionários gentis.

Located on the waterfront so has a good view across the water.
Breakfast consisted of only a cup of coffee. There is a very steep hill to reach the town centre and bus terminal if you are carrying luggage.
Friendly welcome from the staff.
Great location, on the waterfront and also close to restaurants.
Cozy, warm room with a great view of the water through the floor to ceiling windows and from our balcony
Really comfortable bed
Lovely hot shower
Great coffees and breakfast at the on site cafe
Cafe didn’t open until 1000 so quite late for coffee and / or breakfast and cafe does not open at all on Sundays, with no other options nearby.
Parking is only for 3 vehicles so not always possible to park your rental car at or near the property.
Great view, comfortable bed.
Tiny room and bathroom, noise from cafe below, misrepresentation about on-site parking (there are 3 spaces shared between hotel guests and cafe customers, and parking in Castro is actually quite challenging).
The location was fantastic, and the view from the bedroom and the cafe were wonderful. The sheets were good quality.
Although the sheets were good, the beds were 2 singles pushed together with a ridge in the middle and the pillows were really dreadful, so it wasn't a comfortable night. The place is so great that with a little attention to detail it could be a really great stay, but as it was it felt like the cafe was the main event and the hotel was not really looked after. Also the cafe didn't open til 10am and it took a while to get going so our first morning we couldn't get breakfast until 10.50am, which really ate into our day. The breakfast was very good, but it did feel as though the staff were more concerned with how great their coffee was than with service - the coffee was more important than the customers! Despite the lovely view and situation we really felt that the room was overpriced for the lack of care that went into it.
The communication with the hotel owner was very easy through the Booking.com portal. Although he did not speak any English, we could communicate through one of the staff. He also arranged my transport to the airport when I asked for it. My room was super cozy, well-designed, opening to the sea view. I had a great sunrise view as well as the hotel faces to the east. Having the café just downstairs was also very handy, I loved their sandwiches! Lastly, it is very difficult to find good coffee in Chile and this is one of the places to go if you need real coffee!
The café and the rooms are in the same place. Although it was not a problem for me, you experience some noise in the room when the café is open. On the other hand, they do not open early in the morning and they close early evening, which means that you do not need to worry about your sleep. They are closed on Sundays.
Nice room with a sea view and a balcony, cafe has a good selection.
Rooms are very nice and the place is very quiet at night (restful sleep guaranteed). The view from the palafito is unbeatable. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. Hugo was very good at recommending the best places.
Most issues raised in other comments have been addressed, but I think there could be better communication from the host about some things. For example, Breakfast is at request for an additional price. If you don’t preorder breakfast there won’t be anybody in the cafe until 10. They make the rooms every couple days so if you want to change towels more often (Chiloé is very humid so towels won’t dry overnight) you’ll need to ask. The coffee shop closes at 9 pm and the room has no kettle, so there’s no access to boiled water.
Loved the location and breakfast was incredible!
Such a special stay. The people, the environment, the cafe, the outdoor spaces, the view - we were very happy from start to finish.
