A great place to stay
Pros:

It was spacious, clean and comfortable with extremely helpful, friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the dinner we had was excellent.

We liked everything.

Pros:

Clean, comfortable room, real coffee in the room, nice friendly and accommodating staff; On the first day we were lucky to be there for once a month 'first 30 people (in the pub downstairs) get free breakfast' offer.

My room was clean and cool over a very hot spell, some details could do with attention.

The location was perfect for my visit to friends locally.

Cons:

As I stayed 4 nights I expected my room to be serviced each day or at least every other day but it wasn't touched throughout my visit. I was impressed to find a cafetiere in my room, expecting it to be replaced clean each day but it was not - trying to wash it in the bathroom and dispose of the grounds in my room bin wasn't practical so I didn't use it again. I had to ask for teabags/milk etc. as they were not replenished over the 4/5 days. The concertina shower door did not close properly, therefore reducing the space in the shower!

Decent place for a short stay.

Cons:

We booked a room with a breakfast included, when asked about it on arrival we were told there's no breakfast as it had to be pre-booked.

Friendly place in a quiet village location
Pros:

It was a convenient place to stay on our way to an event we were going to the following day.

Cons:

As our room was above the bar area, it was a bit noisy, although by the time we went to bed most people seemed to be leaving, so didn’t really bother us that much.
