It was a convenient place to stay on our way to an event we were going to the following day.
As our room was above the bar area, it was a bit noisy, although by the time we went to bed most people seemed to be leaving, so didn’t really bother us that much.
Location good a typical country pub that did rooms and food. Prices start at 14 pounds for a pub meal.
The room was a bit closterphobic as the windows don't open and the bed is so big it makes the room seem smaller and awkward to get round.
Great selection of beers very friendly great room staff were amazing helpful and friendly just a brilliant place to stay in easy driving distance of other towns and dartmoor very dig friendly lovely garden out back

When staying multiple days, would have been nice for tea and coffee facilities to be refreshed.
Also fire sensor in Hall was beeping all night (similar to a low battery on a smoke alarm)
Definitely recommend the Tally Ho. Service was amazing, food was delicious & great value too. A group of us ate dinner and everyone was impressed. Drinks were also reasonably priced, jt was nice to go somewhere and not feel ripped off. The staff were super friendly, helpful and the room was just what we needed, the bed was very comfy and the shark fan was a bonus! Breakfast was also great.

A cracking local’s pub with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Very good food and nice staff.
A few little touches could make the rooms better - like a mirror about the bathroom sink and some form of ventilation in the room as the windows are painted shut.
