Good location for ski resorts; house is clean and spacious but cold in winter
Pros:

We stayed here for a ski trip and the location is great, there are many ski resorts within a 30 min drive. The house is spacious and there is plenty of parking in the front (up to 3 cars). Snow removal supplies are also provided for winter storms and there is also snow removal services on certain weekdays.

Cons:

The house is very cold, especially in the winter. There are kerosene heaters provided and extra kerosene in the garage if needed, but the insulation is not great so the heat escapes easily. We did not mind it too much as we were provided with multiple layers of thick blankets but getting out of bed in the morning was difficult due to the cold.

We chose this place because of its excellent reviews, and it truly lived up to them. Everything was great—the host even prepared a bottle of sake for us to enjoy. The place was clean and spacious, making it especially suitable for a family of 4–5. The kitchen was large, and the living area and bedrooms were well laid out and comfortably spaced.

Cons:

It was unfortunately too cold, and none of us slept well. The heaters in the property were quite weak, and I don’t think the place is suitable for a winter stay. When we turned on all the heaters at the same time, the power tripped in the living room and both bedrooms, and I had to reset it several times.

Great stay!
Pros:

Very spacious, very beautiful house. Matches description. Easy check in. Clean, well equipped, tidy. Comfortable stay.

Cons:

The front door lock feels a bit flimsy, but the area is very quiet and feels safe.

High end and Authentic Japanese traditional house stay
Pros:

Perfectly renovated old japanese house. Exceptional interior with modern furnishing and appropriate architectural design.

Cons:

Gets a bit cold at night during winter. Location is a bit far from city center and convenience store (about 15mins)
