A wonderful little boutique property. Amazing staff who delighted us at every touch point! The Bar and Restaurant were superb in every way with outstanding service and food
The only little issue we faced was with the hot water in the shower and Ismail the Property Manager was quick to delight us with an upgrade for the 2nd night, to an even more beautiful room at their other property round the corner.

Top verblijf gehad bij The Bungalow. Prachtige kamers bij een prachtig restaurant. Perfecte lokatie in Galle Fort. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. In het echt nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Aan alles is gedacht.
Ismail was the most accomodating staff , they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The staff at the bar & restaurant were exceptionally kind and helped me with the to do/ to visit suggestions in old town. Very safe for solo female travellers

Wow, what an incredible stay. Blown away by the room and hospitality. Great location. The restaurant was superb - seafood platter is a must! The room was huge! And our hosts were so generous to extend our stay on our checkout day as the room wasn’t booked.
I had the best stay of my entire trip at The Bungalow Galle Fort hotel. I unfortunately got sick on my first night after eating at a local restaurant. Ismail the manager was very kind and understanding checking in on me for the duration of my trip and didn't even charge me for the drink and meal I ordered to my room.
I unfortunately did not get the chance to eat at the restaurant and I wish I did as the food looked delicious.

Exceptional room modern boutique hotel with a great bonus of the LP player! We loved dancing away with our cocktails 🍸 so glad we picked a stay at the bungalow..it’s a pity it was just overnight. Shout out to Ismail for great communication throughout and accommodating to our needs, cocktails in our room while waiting for our table at the restaurant. Manik was great for his brilliant knowledge and history…ideas for future trips to beautiful Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 p.s l hope the new cocktail is on the menu Ranj’s Arrack Coffee! named after me made by Manik! Irish coffee with a twist of arrack! Very yummy 😋. Definitely recommend a stay here, great hospitality all round 😊
Nothing… it was absolutely amazing!
The location and the friendliness of the staff were excellent.
The interior design was also amazing. We stayed in the King Room, and the room was huge.
The shower wasn’t that great. There is only a rain shower, and a handheld showerhead is missing.
For the price, you could also expect breakfast (even though we knew there wouldn’t be any).

We ate here last year and decided to book a room. We weren't disappointed. The room matched the food. A little bit disorganised on checking out, so a point dropped. Food reasonably priced. Quality excellent. Wine also good. For a little treat would recommend. They need to offer breakfast.
