The unit was perfect for me and my sisters, and the location was superb. However, there were a few negative aspects during our stay, which I would like to highlight below

Cons:

Bathroom Facilities:
The shower system in the living room bathroom needs urgent attention. The hot water function does not work properly — you have to keep pressing the yellow button continuously to get hot water, which makes showering very uncomfortable. Additionally, the hand bidet has very weak water pressure, with only a thin stream coming out, making it inconvenient to use.

Unannounced Contractor Visit:
I was quite unhappy when contractors came into the unit to measure the master’s room glass without prior notice or approval. They repeatedly pressed the doorbell, which was disruptive and uncomfortable. Repair or maintenance work should be scheduled only when there are no guests, unless specifically requested by the guest. As they were all men and we were all women in the unit, this also raised safety concerns.

Parking Charges:
Clear communication regarding parking fees is also necessary. I was surprised at checkout when I was asked to pay PHP 500 by the guard, even though the posting inside the unit mentioned different rates (first 3 hours free, PHP 100/hour thereafter, or PHP 300 for overnight). We only parked at night for less than 3 hours, so I expected not to be charged, or at most to pay PHP 300. Instead, I was told PHP 500 because we parked outside the condo rather than in the basement. However, this distinction was never explained to us before check-in, and the parking we used was still within the condo premises. This should have been clearly informed upfront, not brought up in an unpleasant way during checkout.

Home away from Home for a repeat customer
Pros:

I come to Cebu every other month to spend a month with my fiancée and her daughter who live in Mandaue. This condo has - and continues to be - my home away from home. It is comfortable, clean, secure, and very nice. There is a great laundromat (Dropshot Laundry) on the main road and lots of restaurants and a grocery store in Oakridge Business Park - less than a 5 minute walk away. The front desk has water for sale - very convenient.
My Fiancée and I both work for US companies, so the fast, dependable internet is a necessity. Has always been great here.
The hosts are very responsive and reply very quickly. I tried half a dozen other places before finding this gem so I know the competition quite well.
I have already stayed here two times and have an additional 4 months booked throughout the rest of 2024. As I said, our home away from home.

Cons:

Only 1 very minor issue - the elliptical machines in the gym are both missing their power adapters so are essentially non-functional. Hopefully, the front desk can solve this when I'm next there.

All in all it was enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend it
Pros:

I like that unlike other condo for rent, the owner did nit scrimp with the furnitures and furnishing. The comforters and the beddings are comfortable and the bed’s softness is just right. I like also that we got the city view. When in the city i like to be on a high rise and Midpoint residences provided me with just what I need.

Cons:

The TV in living room is not and working and we got the surprise in our lives when we opened the door and somebody is inside. We thought we entered the wrong room but it turned out the cleaning lady is not done yet with house keeping. We checked in around 2:30 pm so we really expected the house keeping to be done by then.

All good to stay in apart from the basin in the onsuite is blocked and it takes about half-hour to empty about half full

If you reserve a few days in advance this apartment is worth the cost.
Pros:

The listing said last minute reservation was OK. Check-in required the owner's representative to be present. We had to wait before going to the property. It was late in the day and the listing did not indicate that a late same day reservation was a hassle. Otherwise the unit was just as described or better. After all of the initial delay, everything was as advertised.

Cons:

The owner did not have authorization to let us into the property until someone went to the property to authorize entrance.
There were no instructions on how to get Netflix on the living room TV. I was unable to use this advertised service.
