Eccentric but a good value accommodation option
Pros:

Quirky enterprise but not without its charm. The room was tastefully decorated and everything was provided. Breakfast is help yourself which I have no issue with.

Cons:

People who come to stay here need to be aware that there is no evening food. If you want a meal then it’s a mile’s walk to Bowness or bring your own bike (like I did)

Ok
Pros:

Location was good for doing the walk

Cons:

Room was small and access to the toilet in the bathroom wasn’t easy when there was light but at night was a nightmare, they say you get what you pay for and that was true here, there were other rooms available that we could of been given which were better than what we were given.

This was our 6th night and last stay on the Hadrian’s Wall hike and the worst by far.
Cons:

Poor value for money, cynical pricing because of the location. Bed uncomfortable, looks very run down, no heating.
Minimal breakfast
