Categories

Cleanliness
4.5
Multiple guests reported serious cleanliness issues (stained towels/sheets, long hairs, flies, mold, dirty toilets), though a few reviews called rooms clean. Overall cleanliness is below expectation.
Service
9.4
Many reviewers praised staff by name (Nafis, Mudasir, Joy, Mr Sami) and described reception/housekeeping as helpful and cordial. There are isolated service lapses (slow AC response), but staff friendliness and helpfulness are frequently noted.
Location
9.2
Location is repeatedly described as excellent/strategic (Bukit Bintang, easy to walk around, near metro and meeting areas). Very strong positive sentiment for location.
Room Quality
5.8
Room quality is mixed: some guests found rooms nice and comfortable, others reported problems (no window, no wardrobe, AC failure, security issues with keys, long hairs). Moderately below average overall.
Amenities
5.2
Several reviews note missing or limited amenities (no hairdryer, no body wash/shampoo, shared iron, thin towels). Amenities are noticeably lacking for some guests.
Value for Money
8.4
Multiple guests commented the price is good and the promotion/value is worth it. Overall perception of value is positive.
Food and Beverage
7
Little direct feedback on F&B; one comment notes many food options nearby. Insufficient detail, so assigned the target/neutral rating.
Overall Experience
6.5
Overall sentiment is mixed: strong positives for location and staff but significant negative experiences (cleanliness, security, AC failures) led some guests to be very disappointed.

Pros:

Just in the middle of the city

Cons:

Disappointed with the stay.
Cleanliness was not satisfying - room and common areas need more attention.
The lift was always breaking down so we had to use the staircase to Level 4. The staircase was dirty and not well maintained, which was quite disgusting.
Receptionist name Ekbol and Tonmoy was okay and polite, but overall facilities need a lot of improvement.
Hope management can look into this.

Excellent Stay – Outstanding Service by Eqbal Mahmood!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Kingston Hotel 1 - Bukit Bintang! The room was very clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a pleasant 3-night stay.
A special mention goes to Eqbal Mahmood at the lobby front desk. He was exceptionally professional, respectful, and fantastic at his job. His friendly service and helpful attitude made our check-in and overall stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Cons:

A few minor improvements would make the stay even better: providing higher quality bath towels, offering extra body soap and shower gel in the bathroom, and adding a hair dryer, the lights switch can be replaced and the door is so loud the bathroom door and the door to our room.
