Beautiful property couldn’t flaw it at all
I think the staff working here were lovely and really made it for us
Fantastic stay. Staff were so helpful and attentive. Spa was lovely and as was the food.
Rooms rather dated a lunch menu in the stables limited and slightly over priced.
The spa is wonderful, hotel meal in the evening was lovely.
Nothing
Spa area was lovely. The weather definitely helped as it’s mostly outside. Bedrooms very comfortable, staff were great, food in restaurant was delicious and overall it felt excellent value for money with bed, spa and breakfast and 3 course dinner included.
Coming from South Africa, we are used to many different SPA experiences, however this one is truly unique. A Spa encouraging social engagement for those wanting to connect with friends, facilities beautifully designed with expansion views yet catered for cold weather conditions and many nooks to unwind and recharge. Wish we had a facility like this in SA - just cannot recommend it more!
Great place to celebrate a birthday.
Great spa/room/food/bar . Service was amazing. Breakfast was one of the best i have ever had.
One of the best spa in my opinion. Luxury and amazing staff. Food / drink are both 10 out of 10 🙂…We went last year and decided to revisit this year and will defo be back next year
A wonderful overnight spa package at Manor House. I highly recommend this very special experience, everything about it was excellent.
Lovely spa and made even better by the fantastic weather! Very relaxing and lovely food in the restaurant. Room was great. Would recommend and visit again.
Lovely spa facilities and great service. It felt like being on holiday. There are lots of loungers and always some in the shade which was great. My boyfriend did get food poisoning, but the dinner was nice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Thank you!
We booked a Date Night Escape and everything was perfect, absolutely stunning.
The only thing that let it down was being charged 2 x service charges for our meal (the meal and wine is included in the package but we were charged more than 10% of the meal)
The food and service was well worth it so we were happy to pay it but it wasn’t very clear
We have had a lovely 24 hours at this lovely spa and hotel.
The spa really is beautiful and the staff lovely. We were lucky to be there in the hot weather and it felt like a mini holiday without the flight.
Dinner was perfect and again staff lovely.
3 little niggles
1 - hotel guests can’t use the pool bar for food however, the stables restaurant doesn’t have the spa vibe.
2 - the pillows are very poor quality especially when paying what you do to stay.
3- breakfast - you have to book a time to avoid you waiting which is fine however, it was slow and not great. I had eggs Benedict, the eggs were not runny, the bread soggy and the whole thing almost cold.
Overall we would love to come back and would really hope breakfast is on par with everything else.
Amazing facilities, great stay!
Nothing.
Stayed overnight with a friend.
There was some work going on but we knew this and it was not invasive. Didn’t really notice it but some may find fault if picky.
The facilities in the garden spa are lovely. Nicely spread out to be private but near each other.
We loved the pools with the bar for a hot or cold drink.
It also doesn’t matter about the weather. I’d even go in the snow as it would bring another view to it.
Sometimes spas can seem a bit pretentious . This was cosy, relaxed and a breath of fresh air (literally).
The food was also lovely . I’m sure we would have paid a lot more else where.
Staff so lovely and calm and relaxed.
We can’t fault the manor.
