A lovely holiday location
Pros:

Overall it was quite nice. A coffee machine in the room was a nice addition. It was great to have a nice restaurant in the building, I didn't have to go anywhere after a full day of running around. The breakfast was decent with a good enough variety. The staff was really lovely.

Cons:

My room was facing the road and it was a bit noisy with the cars passing by. The location was perfect for me as I was on a running holiday, but might be a bit too far from things for someone who travels on foot.

A very comfortable and enjoyable night. Room was excellent. Staff were friendly, fun and professional. Nice food.
Pros:

Well located. Very modern. All amenities. Generous and clean room. Plenty of parking. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice bar & restaurant.

Cons:

Unstaffed, keypad check-in is a bit of “over-tech” - especially given the info has been previously provided.

Pros:

Great decor , loved the room & the comfy bed and the cocktails are great

Cons:

I would have liked the choice if having instant coffee and not just the machine in the room as two pods where not enough

Pros:

Really nice hotel. Very convenient for the Peak District.
Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

Cons:

Very poor breakfast!
No sausages, scrambled eggs looks like sick, bacon looked under cooked.
I asked the lady if I could get the bacon remade but I was told there's no more left!
All the breakfast area needed a wipe down due to the amount of people just making a mess.
Sorry but this is poor.

This was my second stay at the Bike and Boots Hotel and I would go back again.
Pros:

The location is very good and handy for anyone wanting to do a bit of outdoor activity. The facilities are good with a nice relaxation room available with free coffees/tea available. The restaurant is welcoming with a good atmosphere and menu choice and the bar is also well stocked with choice. The staff are also pleasant to chat with when sitting at the bar in the evening.

Cons:

There is a lack of a front desk of sorts and if you arrive and there is no one about at the entrance way it feels a little awkward trying to find a staff member. It would also be handy to have a list of local bus and timetables on the wall to help plan trips.
