The stay was tolerable, but would not rebook.
Pros:

Christopher was very accommodating.

Cons:

Rooms were on the second floor and no elevator. The facility is 126 years old and some parts show the age. The bathroom was atrocious. The noise level from the street was excessive.

Great location, unique old hotel with interesting architecture. Christopher (the manager/owner) was amazing!

Do not be fooled by the nice location and quaint entrance. This place is unsanitary.
Pros:

The rooftop garden and the cat up there were lovely. That’s about it.

Cons:

The shower did not turn on. Just a drip of yellow water. No working shower! The sheets were so thin and slippery and kept sliding all over the bed, and they had hair and dirt in them. Seems like they had not been cleaned. The pillows were hard as rocks and so thick that we couldn’t sleep with them. Had to sleep with no pillows. The bed was so squeaky every time we rolled over or made any movement. Bright lights from the parking lot next-door shone in our room all night. No one got any sleep.

Staff was friendly ,near supermarket, some stores and local bus service

Cons:

Older hotel rooms and furniture. Rooms were ok, not modern or decorative. No elevator or pool, had to carry luggage to 2nd floors. Shower and piping were antiquated. Very little pressure in showers

Sehr nettes authentisches Hotel in guter Lage zu Old San Juan und Contado, sehr sauber und gepflegt, sehr freundliches Personal, 24/7 Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, in dem man prima frühstücken kann, Restaurants und Strände fußläufig, beim Parken aufpassen, dass man keine Verbotszone nimmt!

Hyvä hotelli, kunhan tiedostaa että kyseessä erittäin vanha rakennus. Ilmastointi toimii hyvin, mutta pitää kovaa ääntä. Äänet kuuluvat käytävältä huoneeseen hyvin. Nämä eivät ole ongelmia, kun niistä tietää etukäteen ja osaa varautua.
Tämä oli meille erittäin hyvä yhden yön hotelli ennen risteilyä. Sijainti on loistava, ranta on lähellä, samoin 24/7 kauppa, kahviloita ja iltaelämään La Placita-alue kävelymatkan päässä.

Cons:

Lakanat olivat hieman tahraiset, samoin päiväpeitteet. Ne olisi hyvä vaihtaa uusiin.
