Great value in the beautiful abbey town of Sherborne.
Pros:

The room is stunning. Sleeping and living space, a Smeg fridge, great toiletries.
Breakfast is wonderful. Zoe did a wonderful job providing coffee and food.
Reception staff are simply amazing.
It is on the outskirts of town. Would be a huge bonus if the Hillbrook could also do a light supper servie.

Great location and atmosphere.
Pros:

We had the apartment room and we can honestly say it had everything you needed and more. The pictures didn’t really do it justice. There was even two little fresh milk and cans of water in the fridge.

Cons:

Only negative was that the dusting wasn’t done to a top standard, but we did bring it to housekeeping’s attention, so hopefully it will improve.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and professional,from the receptionist to the waitresses.. Rooms were very stylish and beds very comfortable.. plenty of tea and coffee in room ..really good value for money ..The breakfast was outstanding.. will definitely be going again ..

For our purposes this was in the perfect location with friendly and accomodating staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Our host, Katrina, was extremely helpful and accomodating and even sourced an item which wasn`t on the menu. Nothing was too much and she always had a smile.

Cons:

Stayed for 2 nights and the beds were not made up for the second night. When pointed out they were very apologetic.

Excellent stay in Sherborne
Pros:

We stayed for 2 nights, loved the comfortable beds, the breakfast staff were amazing, so kind and prepared our breakfast with such care. Overall a wonderful stay.

Excellent hotel, just sorry we weren’t staying longer
Pros:

Large comfortable room, spotlessly clean. The breakfast was superb & staff very friendly. Location perfect for walking into Sherborne.

Broke contract so cancelled our second stay awaiting money to be refunded

Information prior to booking in.not informed about closure of spa/ dining room closed not being told we could have used restaurant for a takeaway so had to go out to eat we could have booked a better hotel for less expense but choose yours for spa etc lied on your website about facilities offered no reduction on price

Local staff run the hotel & do so with passion. They were extremely friendly & helped whenever asked

Cons:

Restaurant & Spa have now closed. Shame as it would help make this hotel a special place in the lovely town of Sherborne.

Relaxing stay. Beautiful rooms.
Pros:

Room 35 suite was fantastic.

Shower, towels, and bath robe were of the highest quality. Always a good indicator!

Full English breakfast cooked to order with quality ingredients.

100% recommend.

Cons:

The windows open only an inch or two which I think in the summer might be frustrating when you want to keep the room cool to come back to.

Pros:

Lovely hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower and friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast too.

Cons:

It's shame the restaurant isn't open anymore but the staff were very helpful with information for local pubs, restaurants and take aways.
