Pros:

We were upgraded to a junior suite at no extra cost which was a lovely surprise. Beautiful room, incredible bathroom and the staff were lovely. I would absolutely recommend staying here. We stayed 2 nights but would love to have stayed longer.

Cons:

Nothing, it had everything we needed.

Excellent stay ideally placed for Dorset visits
Pros:

Perfect location for our trip with free parking on site. Excellent clean modern accommodation. All the staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful too. We highly recommend The Hillbrook & would stay here again.

Cons:

Whilst the breakfasts were substantial & delicious, it was slightly disappointing to find that there wasn't any provision for an evening meal.

Needs improvements
Pros:

Modern clean hotel. Spacious rooms. Good beds. Fluffy towels.Helpful staff. Good parking.

Cons:

It is relatively new and lacks character.
No dressing gowns or slippers in bedrooms.
It advertises a restaurant but that is misleading as it does not offer evening meals. Breakfasts are good but limited by today's offering in other hotels
Their spa is shut.
It is at least a ten minute walk into the town centre. This is a problem in bad weather considering the restaurant is not open in the evening.

Expensive but very comfortable room
Pros:

Rooms were excellent - large, comfortable and very good. Location was a bit of a surpirse based on booking - modern looking building right by a 2 lane motorway - but was quiet, room excellent and very good breakfast. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay but not right near town, and not a quite beautiful setting.

20 minutes boring walk into town centre though easy parking if you choose to drive in very good standard on the edge of town

Fair, suited my purposes. The staff were very nice.
Pros:

It was a big room, including a big bathroom. The shower was very good.

Cons:

Cleanliness could have been better. The breakfast was not good at all.

Excellant stay
Pros:

one of the best breakfast we have ever had. We understand the manager cooked it.

Cons:

Not doing Evening meals. We think the Hotel is missing out on business, especially as Sherborne had not got any restaurants to suit us.
