The location was very convenient, the facility is quaint and beautiful.
Pros:

The outside facilities were beautiful. The breakfast was very good, and the dining hall was wonderful.

It would benefit from having an accessible room for people with disabilities. At present each room has a bath with a shower above. It is easier for many people to have a walk-in shower.

Very relaxed stay in a beautiful setting.
Pros:

Beautiful setting and buildings. Very well kept. Quiet. Gorgeous food (evening meal & breakfast) No rush to check out allowed for a relaxed morning. Well stocked room and bathroom (impressed by the fan, radiator, iron etc)

Pros:

We have stayed here as a group of eight friends every year for the past five years. It is such a pleasure to return to find everything as good as the last time. The food is excellent - this time the fish was especially delicious. The staff are so friendly and efficient and the rooms are large and comfortable.

Lovely location and really excellent staff.

Cons:

Could only have shower in the bath. For this kind of money that's not good enough.

Also a bad smell emanating in the car park. Dunno whether its sewage system or what. Smells like stagnant water. No smell in the room or hotel.

It was lovely, we had a fabulous stay and will return

It was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were the best, so friendly, kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

We were on the first floor and we found the steps up a little difficult especially with suitcases, (we are in our 80’s) however I’m sure if we had asked we could have had help

Pros:

Very nicely done accommodation in the courtyard and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fabulous food and service and great value for money. Breakfast was equally good.
