It was exactly what we needed.
Pros:

excellent family run hotel, probably not stay as long as i like more town life.
Pros:

breakfast very good, cooked to order, lunch menu excellent with large portions evening meals excellent with a reasonable choice. rooms very good, location quiet and peaceful.

Cons:

The first nights stay was really nice and staff on duty where really friendly, next couple days it took a dive, think i would say clash of personalities , really did not feel comfortable, left early last day without breakfast as i'd had enough.

Pros:

Everything. Exceptionally friendly, helpful, efficient and happy staff; all requests met with a smile. Room beautifully clean. It was very hot and the rooms all had new fans which worked perfectly to cool the rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows; each room thoughtfully equipped with everything anyone might need for a stay away from home. Food at the Inn was lovely with a very welcoming atmosphere. It is a quiet local pub with the accommodation adjacent to it, so it is not at all noisy. We had to move to another hotel for a wedding the next day and we didn't want to leave as we felt so welcome, like visiting family. Will definitely return there if I'm in the area again.

Pros:

This is a very nice, old, and atmospheric Inn. Staff were lovely as was the food and service. We would definitely stay here again if in this part of England. Well above average.

Pros:

Et fantastisk sted med en enestående beliggenhed lidt udenfor byen. Personalet var utrolig smilende, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Maden hold nu op det var lækkert. Dette sted får mine varmeste anbefalinger og er helt klart et sted som jeg skal tilbage til igen.

Great staff, good drinks selection, great food.

Cons:

Bar shut slightly earlier than expected (c. 10.15ish; we may have been able to push them to stay open longer, but just moved outside instead as we had drinks so enabled them to shut up shop for the night).

Beautiful traditional hotel
Pros:

Very quiet location ideal location within easy reach of Woodstock Witney and Oxford, rooms were spacious and comfortable and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and food cooked to order.
