Very good stay and great rate.
Pros:

Hot breakfast was simple but good every morning. I got a great rate for the days when most hotels were full in town for the yearly conference.

Cons:

Elevator to second floor was not working. Management was working on getting it repaired when I checked out. Things happen and this was not that big of a deal.

Stay away!
Pros:

They had lights in the front parking lot so no one stole anything from the car overnight. That was the highlight of this Super 8. Nothing else was a highlight.

Cons:

The elevator did not function properly, had to "hit it hard several times" per the recommendation of front desk. This happened every time we used it. We had serious concerns as to whether we should be using it. We had to get our room key card reset 4 times because was not working and could not gain access to room. (we were there for only one night fortunately). That was four times going up and down the scary elevator to the front desk in a row! One of the last times I went to get the key reset again, the front clerk asked "how much have you been drinking?" Um, nothing?? I am in my 60's moving my daughter across the country. Definitely didn't stop in Odessa for the party atmosphere. Lastly there was no security bolt on top of the door, in fact it had been removed as evidenced by the vacant screw holes. Chair in room has tear and worn. No wall hangings in the room, just bare walls. Run down property. Very disappointed. Seriously the place is a dump. Ice machine only functioning on 1st floor. The next morning we saw large plastic bags of eggs defrosting on the counter for breakfast -- gross. We couldn't get out of there fast enough the next morning.

The only good thing about this place is the staff

The elevator didn't work right the lock on my door was broke and breakfast wasn't very good pool closes by health department the whole place smelled like weed dispensary and they turned the frontage red into a one way so it makes its frustrating to get about we had to change hotels
