Great place to stay but worth checking the check-in time before booking

I missed the detail about the check-in time being 5:00-6:30pm. If anyone booking can’t make that time, check with the host, Lisa, before booking.

Good value room to stay for the night
Pros:

Nice comfortable spacious room and en suite bathroom. The host was welcoming.

Cons:

Super narrow window to check in caused me a bit of stress getting there (I was aware at booking but thought it was a typo or something)

No hot water for shower in the morning

Clean and cosy ensuite room in a house. Great value
Pros:

Good sized room with ensuite. Very clean and comfy. Half the cost of a Travel Lodge in Bristol !
Lisa is lovely and very helpful.

Cons:

There are no kitchen/eating facilities here. Plenty of eat out spots.

Pros:

Lisa is such an incredible host made the stay feel very home like. Beds were comfortable and toilets, showers nil issues. Overall was worth every penny.

A very comfortable stay in a lovely house with a friendly and welcoming host. Thank you very much.
Pros:

The location was perfect and very close to where I needed to be the next day. Breakfast was not inluded, but this was clear from the information I received when I booked. the coffee/tea makign facilities in the room were good.

Cons:

I liked everything.

Lovely Room and Views, but Guest Policies Could Be Friendlier
Pros:

• Very clean, spacious, and nicely laid-out bedroom
• Large bathroom with a big shower
• Beautiful views from the bedroom of the countryside
• Private, secure parking
• Overall tidy and well-presented accommodation

Cons:

• Check-in window is from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., but the late check-in penalty of £5 per hour starts immediately after 5:00 p.m. — for example, arriving at 7:00 p.m. would mean a £10 late check-in fee. While this is mentioned in the property’s fine print, I personally feel it’s an unfair practice for guests (my fault for not reading the small print beforehand)

• Ended up having a cold shower in the evening due to the timed heating system

Pros:

Great location and very welcoming host

Cons:

The duvet, though very cute, was too warm for the summer night and the mattress was too soft for my taste. All in all still a great stay
