Great little place for an overnight

Very nice weekend away. Room was nice, resort was clean and very dog friendly which We loved.

The property is very quaint and well maintained however, it’s so bright at night. They need to invest in black out curtains that fit the windows or cut down on the outdoor lighting.

The riverside views were amazing. Can imagine that later on in the season when the pool is open and the area more crowded, that it may not be as quiet.

Clean room and bathroom. Accommodating staff. Had ample parking for truck and boat trailer with electrical connection for charger. Restaurant on site was good.

My mom stayed there for Thanksgiving night and it was lovely, clean, and quiet. Would stay again!

Hotel description is deceiving, we had no idea our resort was an RV resort. Pictures of the rooms showed wood flooring but our room had a concrete floor.

Such a beautiful property on the Chickahominy River that is so well maintained and updated. My room was fresh and clean with plenty of towels for my 2 day stay. The adjoining restaurant "The Blue Heron" was fantastic!

Unfortunately, the internet was down for my entire stay and I was unable to watch TV and had a difficult time using my laptop and phone. Additionally, the wood blinds do not provide a lot of coverage, so the lights from the parking lot keep the room very bright during the night. Thankfully, I was still able to get a good night of sleep. The staff is incredibly friendly and responded to every request with a sense of urgency. I would definitely stay here again!

It was very good the hotel manager was great. There was a very bright light outside the window that made it difficult to sleep.

We had a bass tournament and our club members went out of the property.
The staff was awesome from check in and check out. The waters were very accommodating caught some nice fish not real big though. We will definitely return.

The area and facilities are gorgeous with friendly staff and a great restaurant right next door, for the price you will not find a better place in my opinion!

Just loved the laid back atmosphere. The people were all very helpful and kind.

This was a nice property. Awesome staff, wonderful view, and just what we were looking for. The only downfall was the bed. Once these are upgraded, there would be no complaints.

Decor was welcoming and looked eco-friendly with wood furniture and room paneling. The whole resort had a beachy feel. Pet-friendly as the floors were polished cement or some kind of hard material like that. We arrived very late so the keypad entry allowed us to not worry about access. Comfortable beds, extra pillows, friendly staff, and good food and scenery on the lake. The staff left the room undisturbed during the stay which was great to conserve unnecessary features like replacing towels as there were plenty. They did provide what we needed, even anticipating those at times. Could have been a bit cleaner under the bed but everything else was clean and stocked with amenities, mini fridge included in the double Queen room. Overall, good stay and would return.

Dissapointing to say the least, for $144 dollars a night i definitely expected more. The fridge is smaller than a cooler youd take to a barbecue, and there is no microwave in the room. What a joke. Therw is a "community" microwave in the laundry room. If it wasnt for the person i had staying with me i wouldve done a chargeback with my card immediately. Look somewhere else.

Newly renovated rooms, very clean. Staff was helpful. Room is small for two queen beds.
