Due to local regulations as a result of Covid 19, guests may experience delays in getting a table for breakfast or dinner as only a limited number of guests can be seated at a time.

During the winter months, the Copper Room Restaurant is only open for dinner at weekends.

The bedrooms are in 3 separate blocks: the main hotel, the annex or the gate lodge. Guests can request a room in a specific when booking.

Please note the bar is open late on Fridays and Saturdays. Some noise disturbances may be experienced.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Not worth the price
Pros:

Evening meal was good. Pet friendly hotel. Location is excellent

Cons:

Breakfast was awful. Dry fry which looked reheated. Too many stairs and winding corridors in this very old building. There was an open room being refurbished with open access to equipment. Surely a health & safety issue. The price was extortionately high compared to nearby hotels. We only stayed there as we had a pet.

Out stay at O Sheas was amazing. The staff were so kind and went above to make our stay was pleasant

Receptionist was very poor paid for a family room and wasn’t available when arrived put into a double room and still charged the family room rate no help whatsoever from receptionist, breakfast was very poor a lot of botching done to tables and chairs put a coffee on the tables and it would end up on the floor the bathroom wasn’t cleaned would not recommend when booking.com reached out about the over charging they didn’t bother to respond would not recommend

Excellent location but not worth the money for a tiny room with a pungent smell

Lovely stay restaurant staff really nice and attentive l will come back again

Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive and friendly, can’t say anything wrong about them ,

Cons:

Unfortunately the room was a bit far away the stairs did us in , my own fault l should have requested a bedroom on a lower level as my partner has a bad leg and he struggled a little with the stairs, next time l will know

We had a lovely relaxing stay & the hotel was spotless & lovely staff
Pros:

I was impressed with how clean the hotel was & felt very relaxed there, the staff were lovely & very helpful. The food was also exceptionally good!

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was the noise outside the hotel with seating just outside the windows had people talking really loud & someone choke coughing first thing when I woke but saying that not a fault of the hotel, it's on the street so to be expected.

Very poor, would not stay again
Pros:

Location good, staff very friendly and helpful

Cons:

We had no heat at all in our room so they supplied standalone heaters. The room was not very clean.
The facilities offered at this hotel did not justify the price paid
