We enjoyed our little stay over but the flat needs work!
Pros:

The location is great, beach in a short walk from the flat, the pool is lovely, our toddler loved the kiddies section of the pool. There is a lovely braai area in the garden with a nice view of the ocean. The double bed is very comfortable! A nice layout of the apartment itself. Outside furniture is comfortable but could use some cushions. Clothing rack available which helps alot!

Cons:

Sadly the flat needs some TLC, all metal features are really rusted, including the curtain eyehooks, the security gate and sliding door leading out to the patio needs some serious maintenance or total redo its rusted, the wood is swollen its difficult to open and close.
The taps in the bathroom scream at you, the shower in the bath is difficult use as the door leaks and this is mentioned in other reviews, but its not like extra mats or towels are provided to dry up the mess, and the mop is so old its useless, it was just way to stressful then it should have been to just shower. Overall it could use some upgrades. If you cant do upgrades and please try accommodate for the extra hassles until renovations can be done.

Pros:

The apartment offers all the basic amenities needed for a cozy holiday. If your looking for a place to rest, bath and cook while you explore the area, this is it. Very affordable. Very safe with 24 hr guard on duty.

It was a pleasant stay overall, besides the few room hiccups we had to get used to.
Pros:

Close to the beach, braai facilities really close by. Nice little patio area that sort of overlooks the beach.
The pool was well maintained, there was enough cutlery and sundries.

Cons:

Main bed is uncomfortable, the bathroom needs a renovation, cold tap keeps coming off, it makes a squealing noise, the towel rack fell off the wall one night. Needs wifi or dstv as open view offers very little in the way of viewing.

Pros:

Everything we needed was there
It was convenient
Safe and secure

Cons:

The upper windows where open and it was very cold, we didn't notice until it was very late, my partner Got sick. So I'd suggest they keep them closed.

The location. The private beach.

Passable
Pros:

There where no laundry facilities so had to hand wash or pay laundry services during our stay.
Signal was bad in the area I'd recommend wifi.
Couldn't swim at the beach right by the facility because of the dirty water at Winifred beach hosts should know about these kind if things and should put it in the adds that that particular beach is dirty or has possible sharks so we had to travel alot during our stay parking space is a bit far from the particular room we where in.
Other than that the facilities where in good conditions, clean area friendly staff and neighbors and the pool was good too.

You get what you paid for.
Pros:

The security guards and the security were amazing. The garden area also lovely with nice barbeque facilities and good security leading to the beach. Nice proximity to the beach.

Cons:

There were leftover food in the fridge which was quite nasty. The beds were horrible and the swimming pool was non functional - no water. This was a point made on the advertisement that there is a swimming pool..nobody informed us it is non functional.

Superb
Pros:

Lovely pool, perfect for toddlers. Nice braai area. Lots of space for our toddler to ride his bike around. Flat was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Pool needs to be enclosed properly so small children can’t get in without an adult.
