Extremely affordable the owner was sooo sweet even gave us a tour of the area and a map of places to visit, the area was beautiful and very quiet the room itself was super comfortable and clean

Great for a group of 5, washer/dryer come in handy, the host was very informative and helpful.

청수사 택시와 버스 타는곳 바로 밑이었어요.
숙소 자체는 깔끔했음. 새벽에 일찍 청수사를 방문하려는 계획으로 이 숙소를 잡았으나 전혀 가지 못했음. 왜냐면 거리상은 청수사가 가까울지 모르지만 오르막길이라 엄두가 안남

This is by far the best hotel and the best value for money I’ve ever stayed at in Japan/Kyoto. Everything in the room is new, modern, and spotlessly clean. The location was also excellent—very close to major tourist attractions and extremely convenient for getting around. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, yet the accommodation remained peaceful and quiet at all times.

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations for sightseeing spots and local restaurants, and even took the time to show us how to use the various facilities and appliances in the room.

I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cet hébergement à Kyoto et nous le recommandons sans la moindre hésitation.

L’emplacement est tout simplement exceptionnel, à deux pas du célèbre temple Kiyomizu-dera. Le quartier est magnifique, avec ses ruelles pleines de charme, ses petites boutiques traditionnelles, ses cafés et son atmosphère typiquement japonaise. C’était un véritable plaisir de séjourner dans un endroit aussi bien situé et de pouvoir découvrir ce quartier à pied.

Nous tenons également à remercier chaleureusement notre hôte, qui a été d’une grande gentillesse tout au long de notre séjour. Toujours disponible, dynamique et très serviable, il a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos échanges avec lui.

La chambre était très confortable, parfaitement entretenue et très agréable. Les lits étaient excellents et la literie de grande qualité, ce qui nous a permis de très bien nous reposer. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé la salle de bain, moderne, spacieuse et très agréable à utiliser.

Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour inoubliable à Kyoto. Nous remercions sincèrement notre hôte pour son accueil chaleureux et son professionnalisme.

Sans aucun doute, si nous revenons à Kyoto, c’est ici que nous choisirons de séjourner à nouveau. Une adresse que nous recommandons avec grand plaisir !

Overall, we had a comfortable stay at Kyo no Yado En, and the location was excellent. It is within easy walking distance of Kyoto's historic attractions, including Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.

Unfortunately, our arrival did not get off to a good start. Our booking was mixed up with another family's, and we were mistakenly told to leave the property. The situation became even more uncomfortable when the neighbouring residents, who were understandably frustrated by the confusion, confronted us. It was a stressful first impression that could have been avoided with better booking management and communication.

Once the issue was resolved, we enjoyed our stay and found the accommodation comfortable. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. For a family of four, the apartment was not stocked with enough kitchenware, toiletries, or mirrors, which made it less convenient than expected.

Despite the disappointing check-in experience, the excellent location and comfortable accommodation made for an enjoyable stay overall. With better organisation at check-in and a few additional amenities for larger groups, this would be an easy place to recommend.

La ubicación es estupenda en una zona con todo el encanto tradicional japonés. A unos minutos a pie de Kiyomizu Dera y de las calles tradicionales de Gion. Las instalaciones son nuevas y todo super limpio. Las camas/almohadas comodísimas. El anfitrión Yutaka es de 10, siempre disponible para lo que necesites y dar recomendaciones. En la calle hay un sitio para alquilar unos kimonos preciosos y que resulta muy práctico. Recomiendo 100% este alojamiento

老闆很親切，服務很貼心

Esta en pleno meollo de Higashiyama , pero esta en una calle lateral por lo que es super tranquilo y tienes la ventaja de ya estar ahi. ;)Las explicaciones del anfitrion perfecta , muy amable. Apartamento amplio . Todo perfecto
