Managed by a private host
A deposit may be required at the property.
The bathroom was clean and the shower had a good pressure
The bed was comfortable.
There was a kettle (no tea or coffee provided )
The host brought up a jug of filtered water and a cup.
They also explained their plan for it's renovation and seemed passionate about it.
The room had a large ceiling fan which would have been great in the heat wave
It was well lit from the velux windows
There was a chair, table and microwave in the room
The front door didn't have a working lock, there was an extra deposit for the room key of £25. The inner room locks were flimsy at best.( I slept with a chair against the door.)
From other places I have travelled I wouldn't classify the property as a hotel, although implied in the description it is; there's no restaurant, the stairs and landing are uncarpeted the furniture isn't anywhere near new. The bathroom next to my room had a lot of traffic late at night and early in the morning and I wonder if it was the only working bathroom in the house due to the renovations.
If it was described as a hostel it would seem, to me, to be more accurate. As it was, I was looking forwards to staying somewhere a little more upmarket than it turned out to be and I was somewhat disappointed. If I had been expecting hostel type accomodation it would have seemed quiet good in some aspects.
In summary
I felt the risk of the front door lacking a lock and delicate room lock was low enough to stay for the second night I had booked, I didn't leave anything in the room during the day as I didn't purchase the room key. The shower and bathroom was clean and pleasant but the room and building werent what I was expecting from the description.

You can not call this room "A deluxe loft space", its very misleading. The pictures don't replicate it what so ever!! Rung them up straight away. said my son wouldn't be staying and requested a refund. Which the owner agreed to.
Told them refund the room, the bathroom was awful, stairs weren't carpeted, dirty looking.
No remote for the TV ,it was awful.
Brilliant host the owner made me food and always makes nice coffee for me friendly place
Very good place, peace and relaxation

The gentleman who owned the place was very nice and a pleasure to deal with.
It’s close to the town centre.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable but adequate for one night
Off road Parking is non existent
Bathroom dirty no hot water tap broken turned all way round toilet dirty bath dirty had to clean before I went in no lock on door asked for key still never got it
Nothing

It was close to Glossop....
The accommodation was not what I expected. I appreciate paying £40 a night, I am not expecting 5 star treatment.
The shower facilities on my floor were not working, and as a result, I had to go downstairs to use the shower.
The duvet on the bed was not made properly.
No tea or coffee facilities, but there was a kettle!!
TV and Channel box were so dirty, they were a health hazard.
The room was very cold.
the owner was extremely pleasant.
The place was very dirty. We had to clean the toilet before we could use it. It said that there were toiletries. The shower gel was actually a bottle of washing up liquid!
The entrance
The bed was uncomfortable, @ arrival, they asked me to pay a bond of £30 for my room key.
I felt unsafe to leave my valuable belongings in a room unlock, and also all night the next room was too loud I have completed about that nothing has been done.
