Nothing
Bedding dirty, furniture quality poor, we decided not to stay ,
Nice location, i felt safe staying there
I dont think there was anything id say wrong really, for what i paid it was as expected, a nice place to stay, comfy, nice view, fairly priced
Not a lot
Not for purpose . No security can lock your own room unless u give £25 for a key . Front door never locked no proper parking. Load of old furniture in room doing nothing. No tv control . Window doesn’t stay open so rearly hot . No sink .just a sheet on the bed nothing else
Breakfast was excellent, location was excellent for me also. I was pleased to be able to park easily in a side street very close by. I really appreciated having a microwave. My host was a nice man & also very interesting when we talked together at breakfast time.
The room was a little bit cold, the radiators were never really warm so I enquired about this & my host explained he was only required, by booking.com, to heat the rooms to 18C which I accepted without any ill feeling or complaint. The steep stairs were very dangerous for an elderly person like myself (aged 74 & with significant pain in both feet both knees & both hips)because the hand rail was missing from the ground floor to 1st floor. I didn't know before I arrived that I would be on the 2nd floor. One complaint I have for booking.com is that you were unable to tell me which floor I would be on.
Nothing was satisfactory at all
On arrival the owner informed me that the room I had booked was unavailable and he would compensate me with a breakfast which could be eaten in the front room/office (dirty) or the kitchen space even more untidy and dirty or on the patio which was more like a building site so I declined
On viewing the room it was not up to standard and a shared dirty bedroom not Acceptable
He then told me that the front door was always open and wanted £25 for a room key to which I refused
I decided not to stay and he said a FULL REFUND would be made but through Booking.com I received a partial refund not what he said I would get
I would conclude by saying stay well clear of this accommodation
Nothing
Everything
Friendly owner
Nothing waste of money
Everything disturbing
Friendly owner/manager. Quick stop so fit for purpose.
Pillows uncomfortable. Bed a little ‘tilted’ (maybe it was mattress?)
Was good value for money
Once we left got a message saying there was too much rubbish and that it was going to be reported but no access to a bigger bin in order to get rid of it in the first place and we made sure that it was all bagged up in one place
He was very polite
