Hospitality was poor, bed was with dust., mattress was horrible and gave me a lot of pain and restless. Lock rear door was broken or wrong code we got to property with trouble and stress
Hot tub was a bonus 👌
No cooking facilities in the indoor kitchen, hob would be great 👍

It is worn out and in desperate need of maintenance.
Issues raised from previous reviews, some over a year ago sharing the same issues.
Broken glass on the floor near the hot tub, water tank for the coffee machine never been cleaned by the looks of it as it had scum and limescale on the water, holes in the wall, dents in the wall, light fixtures broken, scum around the hot tub & the shower practically falling off the wall.

Gorgeous period property in a stunning village. The church behind it and the private walled garden were superb and the host very kind and attentive.

Beautiful place to stay, centre of a lovely market town. Property had great features including private hot tub, old beams, modern bathroom and nice bedroom. The videos to explain parking and hot tub were fantastic- made things really easy and were definitely appreciated!
WiFi was poor, items in kitchenette were dirty, couldn’t get toaster to work, rainfall shower head was partially blocked so water was coming out the sides and hot tub had some scum round the edge.
Absolutely lovely little place. Spotlessly clean. A lovely private sanctuary. Very tastefully decorated. Host was contactable and very helpful. Shops etc within walking distance. On my list of one of the nicest places I've stayed. Will definitely stay again. Loved it!!!

Lovely area and very pretty indeed.
The location is superb- so close to all amenities and next to the magnificent church where we spent quite a bit of time, especially as it was the hottest day of the year! The hot tub was great and despite the hot day was a real treat. The garden was shady around 5pm when we used the tub so was perfect.
Unfortunately for me the bed was too firm and also creaky. That combined with the hot weather made for a difficult nights sleep.
Cosy apartment for a romantic birthday get away. Loved the hot tub. Great location for a potter around Saffron Walden.
Loved the atmosphere and the hot tub experience was wonderful after a hot day in the city.
We weren't able to stay longer!
