Not easy to find, as this is located in a tiny cul-de-sac. No one has bothered to cut down the foliage that obscures the street name. You have to park on the main road and then look around for this cul-de-sac. You CANNOT PARK OUTSIDE the home at all. The house is located at the bottom and is probably too steep to climb up for older guests. Inside the home is welcoming and totally spotless. Very thoughtfully laid out. However, there is a major problem on sunny mornings - the curtains are paper thin and around 5 am the room is flooded with sunlight. So much so that I found it very hard to get back to sleep. Remember to bring your eye shades, though i doubt these would really help. Blackout curtains and a shutter would do wonders for those who prefer to sleep in the dark.
The room was completely flooded with sunlight at 5 am. Street signage was obscured.
Room was exactly what I needed clean tidy lots tea coffe snacks provided lynn was and amazing host and even accommodated early check in for me would highly recommend excellent value
Considering the cost, it offered exactly what I needed for the night.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and I appreciated the little message from the host in the evening asking if I’d like a welcome drink - a really nice touch.
The only small negative was that there was no coffee in the room for a morning drink but it wasn’t a major issue as I grabbed one on the road.
If you are a massive coffee lover like me…maybe just pack your own.
Parking is on the main road but it’s only a min walk away from the property and I got parked at ease.

Accommodation and facilities were clean and tidy and inexpensive and the host was very helpful. Which was perfect for what I needed which was somewhere to sleep and work from the next day when making a flying visit to the area.

Very warm although my radiator was switched off I guess the whole house is very warm if the heating is always on. But that doesn't take away from all the positives.
