This is not just poor service; it is a health hazard.
Pros:

Nothing. The experience was ruined by the lack of hygiene and poor management.

Cons:

The hygiene standards are non-existent. We found blood stains on the bedding, which is absolutely disgusting. Furthermore, after reporting this, the property has ignored our messages.

Pros:

Check in was made easy, the room is large enough, clean and comftable. The bathroom was clean with a large shower, towels shampoo etc were supplied complimentry.
The room has a good size tv as well as free tea and coffee making facilities.

Cons:

There are no notable negatives.

Met all our wants and needs, would definitely stay again
Pros:

Very spacious room, had everything needed.
Very clean and tidy throughout
Kim was incredibly helpful and so welcoming

Comfortable modern room with lovely en-suite, great communication to inform us how to access the room

Cons:

Have stayed several times but preferred it as a hotel, no face to face and no breakfast facilities, it is comfortable but not sure I'll stay again

As good as it always has been.
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. We have stayed at the Chetwynde several times whilst it was a hotel and were initially concerned with its change of use however we were pleasantly surprised! This time we were in the "new" wing and it was just like staying without breakfast - we made our own. No staff on site, however shortly before we arrived I received a welcome phone call and key code number. In addition, phone numbers are clearly displayed on the door in case of early arrival or need to contact staff. Original hotel building undergoing refurbishment and it will be interesting to see how this turns out. We got our room at the excellent price of £53.01 a night.

Cons:

Prices for 2026 are currently double what we payed! This would not be a good deal just for a room.
