Pros:

The room is large, well equipped, with two balconies on each side of the building. Good room service, kept clean. It is close to Patak Road, where you can find a lot of local Thai places. Also 7-Eleven is really close, should you be interested. The personnel is not always speak English, but you can use Google Translate in this case.

Cons:

It is 900 m to the beach, but this is because all Kata is blocked by Med Hotel, which is huge and you have to go around it to get to the beach.

Small & quiet in the middle of everything
Pros:

Older, smaller quiet hotel tucked away between nice big luxury hotels. Very clean, very comfortable with a restaurant and bar on the first floor.

Cons:

There is no elevator, but there are only 3 floors.
