Signature bregustation and live piano music in the evening inside the fort!
Pros:

Great location inside Galle Fort, you can explore the entire fort easily on foot. The hotel staff offer warm hospitality and truly do their best to make you feel at home. They also offer a “Bregustation” which is an excellent selection of traditional Sri Lankan breakfast dishes and an absolute must‑try.

Cons:

Although we enjoyed the stay, from our perspective it is overpriced compared to accommodation elsewhere in the country.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem sehr schönen Stadthotel, das uns vor allem durch seine charmante Einrichtung und die angenehm ruhige, aber dennoch zentrale Lage begeistert hat. Schon beim Check-in fiel uns das überaus freundliche Personal auf, das den gesamten Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestaltete. Der Welcomedrink war der beste den wir jemals hatten (Eistee) Ein echtes Highlight war das hervorragende Frühstück, das qualitativ absolut überzeugt hat und keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Badezimmer war top modern und sauber. Für einen Kurztrip von einer Nacht ist das Haus aufgrund des Flairs und der tollen Atmosphäre definitiv zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Ein paar kleine Abstriche mussten wir lediglich beim Schlafkomfort machen. Das Bett war für unser Empfinden leider nicht besonders bequem und bei der Sauberkeit der Bettbezüge (insbesondere im Kontrast zum Top Badezimmer) hätten wir etwas mehr Sorgfalt gewünscht. Zudem sollte man wissen, dass der Pool eher ein kleines Becken zur Erfrischung der Füße ist als ein Ort zum Schwimmen.

Struttura con un fascino unico, un vero boutique hotel in cui tutti i particolari sono molto curati e raffinati. Accoglienza superlativa: partendo dall’asciugamano freddo e profumato dell’arrivo offerto assieme ad un dissetantissimo ice the, passando per i buoni prodotti da doccia e per il caffè mattutino in infusione lasciato fuori dalla porta e concludendo con la colazione gourmet tutto è stato perfetto ed equilibrato. Amazing Hotel inside Galle Fort
Pros:

Beautiful hotel! The building is traditional and everything in the decoration was very thought out creating a unique atmosphere. We especially enjoyed having pasta and wine at the hotels balcony listening to live piano playing. The breakfast consisted of many dishes and was delicious as was the cinnamon tea on arrival. The staff were extremely attentive.

Come for the breakfast!
Pros:

Great location for exploring Galle, and the best breakfast we’ve probably ever had - this really made the hotel for us!
