According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarized copies of their IDs.
All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.

I liked the location and how the hotel is located at a central location with excellent food and hopping options.
I was charged a $150 additional fee during check-in because I had one guest with me. Despite booking a room with 2 twin beds, I was still charged a 50% increase on site for having 1 guest. I attempted to contact Booking.com with no avail, as the process for contacting an agent is made to be convoluted and inaccessible. I hope that the process for adding a guest’s name while booking is made more evident to avoid unpleasant surprise fees. The room wad not at all luxurious and the shower could be much cleaner. The beds were very uncomfortable and the covers paper-thin. The keys would deactivate daily and I would have to go to the front desk to reactivate them which was frustrating and presented a potential safety risk. The front desk staff were not helpful in finding a true solution to the faulty keyfob issue. This was my first time using Booking.com and I would not consider booking with Booking.com again in the future based on this unacceptable experience unless it was a very last resort.

Poderiam investir na troca das camas. Os colchões são bem antigos... Sentimos as molas no corpo, daí ficamos bem doloridos.
