Sugar Marina Resort - LAGOON - Villas, Naiyang Beach

The staff were quick to check us in and offered to escort us to our room taking our suitcases for us. The room was gorgeous with a view of the pool which was huge. She also took the time to explain breakfast times and other avaliable amenities. They have cute little robes and flip flops and beachtowels avaliable too for exta comfort

The hotel is a convenient location to Phuket airport, only 5 minutes away and they offer a shuttle bus to both the airport and local beaches. The bathroom shower has fantastic pressure and the beds are comfortable with crisp sheets. The pool is good although the water looked a bit cloudy during our brief stay. Floating breakfast was delivered on time, a nice selection of fresh food. A great family owned thai food place is located outside the entry to the hotel, simple and clean but delicious food.Overall our stay was great & would definitely return especially if you need a night close to the airport.

My 3-night stay at Sugar Marina Resort Lagoon was nothing less than amazing! I stayed in a villa with pool access and a jacuzzi, which made the experience so relaxing. The customer service and hospitality were outstanding — everyone was warm and welcoming.
A special thank you to Pin and Reena for going above and beyond. They kindly translated for me when needed and even helped recover my lost passport during my trip. I am beyond thankful and grateful for their assistance.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phuket!

It’s a new building and not too much around the area as it’s not as developed as the southern parts of the island however the hotel feels like a tiny home stay

Best hotel I’ve stayed at so far. Staff truely amazing, best service! Recommend family non family to visit, suitable for either. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy this place again!

After 22 hours of traveling. We arrived to the hotel which was very beautiful from the moment we pulled up. Also, they are very close to the airport. We were greeted with a wonderful smile and wonderful welcome from Aom and Lego along with complimentary, welcome drinks. They helped us check-in and gave us all the information that we would need. The hotel has a app which was very helpful with scheduling room cleaning and ordering food. Breakfast was amazing. Later on that morning, they were pretty helpful in guiding us with tours around the area. And the easiest way to get around.

Super cool place, great breakfast and nice restaurant. Nice rooms, amazing staff and the most awesome part is the wraparound pool conveniently located right outside the room. Will definitely return.

When booking on-line it stated that this hotel provides free shuttle to the airport. This is one of the reasons I booked it. However, upon arrival, they said that is not the case and I had to pay for a taxi to take me to the airport.

The gym was unavailable due to maintenance.

The breakfast was average.

Upon arrival, I received an email from Expedia stating that I had received a free 'mini bar', however, when I showed this to the front desk they said it was an accident as my room was a Superior room. So that is an error from Expedia.

There should be some beach umbrellas by the pool for guests who do not have a pool side room.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Super nice and quiet, a bit far out. Modern tv with Netflix etc.

The room was beautiful and big for me and my family of 6. We were extremely early for the 3pm check in but they accommodated us rather quickly. We ordered a massage to the room, which was phenomenal.

Great Stay for one night

The property was stunning and absolutely value for money spent on it. We stayed here for an overnight stay while travelling from delhi to koh lanta (taking a night pitstop in phuket near the airport).

For our purpose, the location of the property was good but not super close to the beach and where there are a lot other restaurants etc. It was overall convenient though with a small grab ride away.

The service, staff and everything around the property was amazing. The rooms were slick and clean… super modern. We booked a room with an attached private pool and jacuzzi (Most villas have this feature) and it was do refreshing to have a small waterbody closely attached to our room. Have it a very serene feeling.

The highlight of the property was its fitness center and kids activity center. Just amazing with great equipment’s and beautiful kids area. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed in the play area while I explored a nice workout in the small yet amazingly decked gym.

The breakfast was overall good but not the best breakfast buffet. Could have been better with better bakery items, more breakfast options… but i guess for the size of the property this was fine.

Overall great stay and I would not mind staying here again anytime when the need of the hour is a little luxury but also value.

Amazing short stay. Hotel is close to the airport and offers a boutique relaxing stay in lovely surroundings. Room is beautiful and has direct access to swim up pool and jacuzzi. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Shuttle to airport or beach. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. An ideal location for a short or longer stay.
