The actual place is very good. High level of equipment, v comfortable, quiet. Every thought gone into it. High tech, air conditioned and very well decorated.
Be careful on the contract. I booked a two bed cottage so my daughter could stay as my wife had to pull out. My daughter was moving into the area and we had an intense day of DIY. I'd already paid a significant cost as my visit coincided with the British Grand Prix. I stayed alone Friday night and then she joined me Saturday night; her husband wasnt able to stay at his parents so also joined us - this was 930pm at night and we left Sunday at 8am. I told the staff not thinking anything of it and they charged me an extra £88 for the one additional person to join. Whilst entirely within the contract (and they did say they'd relaxed the contract as they could have charged me for two nights even though neither was there on the first night) - i didnt feel this was in the spirit of the stay. If it had been for two nights or long afternoons - I'd have paid willingly but given the day we had and the context I felt it was unnecessarily profiteering but others may feel its fine. Just read the small print. Its a real shame - I would be using the property regularly if it wasnt for this.
It is absolutely beautiful, perfectly appointed - a hidden gem!
