A beautiful stay between hustling cities of Japan. The staff were exceptional, welcoming and accommodating. The room was spacious, wine was delicious and breakfast served to your room every morning was luxury.

Pros:

Modern and clean wood aesthetic. Great staff. Hot water bath is automated that reheat with 1 touch of the button, with a beautiful garden view. Right beside a souvenir market place. The best part is the wine welcome drink plus dessert. And the dinner plus wine pairing are totally worth the add on.

Cons:

Location is not that great. No shuttle bus and the nearest tourist bus stop is like 100m away. No staff after a certain timing.

The staff were lovely and the room itself was physically nice

Pros:

Stunning hotel in a quiet position. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Restaurant was fabulous. Adjacent cafe/ shop excellent.

Cons:

Pillows not your typical western style. Makes for a rocky sleep. Hot tub really only fits one person

We staid at the modern suite, it was marvelous! Super comfortable and big, very very luxury and special.

Cons:

We were overcharged $1000 on our bill. Honest mistake but the staff had attitude with the exception of the wonderful Japanese staff member who had lived in Iowa for two years as a child.
