Good location great little pub and shop, staff were great
The staff and landlady were very welcoming and took great care of us. The inn is well located, the food was tasty and portions generous. A big plus was how dog friendly the Star Inn is. The bathroom situation in the rooms was a bit awkward but even so, we highly recommend this place and would stay again if visiting Northumberland.
The bathroom door in the rooms could be a bit bigger...but other than that, it was a lively stay.
the bed was so comfortable that I slept till late

Great Location, Modern accomdation, Great wifi and TV, plenty of hot water, street parking was easy and the Public EV charger was only 75 yrds down the street. the food menue was fine but the selection was a bit high-brow..
The single beds were not wide enough to be comfortable and the sheets did not fit the bed. Making for a very poor night sleep. The outside stairs up to the accomodation although sturdy with handrails proved stressful when wet and going down felt very unsafe ( I am 81 which did not help) younger folk should not have a problem.

Location, location. Gorgeous little village that we investigated further the following morning. A charming conversion with very comfy bed. We arrived late but Karen, her staff and the locals enjoying a drink in the bar all made us feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast with good choice. My partners gluten free requirements were well satisfied. A slow electric charger nearby which had we know about would probably have resulted in us arriving earlier and enjoying the locale for longer. 😍
Great location, our room was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. The pub was lovely, evening meal was great! Breakfast was lovely, loved the idea of pre ordering the night before. Would definitely recommend

This place is stunning rooms really clean bed is so comfortable it was lovely you have a gated garden with table n chairs. we had breakfast in morning that’s in with the price n it was really good value. Meals on the evening wow hot n tasty we shall return 🥰
