Pros:

We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool and the waterway. Breakfast could be taken by the pool of on the other side watching the world go by. The location was fabulous and our experience was delightful.

Comfortable and relaxing hotel with good restaurant and excellent, polite and helpful staff.
Pros:

I was upgraded to a lagoon suite which was in fact a one bedroom apartment fully equipped and with stoepe overlooking the lagoon. Only downside was that it was next to the kiddies play park, tapas bar and restaurant so was quite noisy during the day and evening. All quiet after 10pm.

Cons:

Little can be done about the noise on the stoepe. It was OK for me as a singleton.

Good location: beautiful calm and quiet island, hotel with parking and restaurants nearby, interesting conception of the hotel, comfortable bed, big room and bathroom

Cons:

Very little bottle of water for free. No slippers. It’s not normal for 5stars hotel.

Beautiful hotel in great surroundings
Pros:

Quirky former power station turned hotel on Thesen Islands in Knysna. Great place to stay while on our Garden Route road trip. One night was not enough. The rooms, the overall design and original features kept from its former life were great.
