We were made to feel very unwelcome, and uncomfortable, by the overtly political “No Labour MPs” sign prominently displayed in the front window. If we hadn’t have pre-booked, we’d have gone elsewhere. We won’t be returning.
Our room was pleasant, booked a deluxe. it was ok.
very dimly lit room for breakfast, table at entrance from rooms full of tablecloths etc. It was OK, but doubt I would re book.

We stayed on the ground floor in what seems to be a new addition to the building. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. The morning of our departure, the fire alarms went off but that did not detract from the fact that we had slept well, were comfortable and happy that we had booked here.
Characterful Inn dating from 1590, but with modern (two years old) guest rooms. Young staff friendly and efficient. Good food in the bar. Usk is a nice little town too, with other eating options.
The internet-powered TV in our room took a bit of figuring out.

Everything was brilliant
Netjes, nieuw, modern, maar ook charme van de oude delen bar. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Konden de kamer iets eerder in dan officiële incheck tijd
Gehorig. Zowel van buiten (achterkant, parkeerplaats etc) als vanuit de gang. Deur houdt heel weinig geluid tegen, dus je hoort het zelfs als mensen fluisteren. Daardoor onrustig begin van de nacht.

The room was beautiful, the bathroom was stunning.
The location and parking was easy to find.
The breakfast was hot and fresh
The mugs in the room was dirty, no teaspoon, no sugar.
The fire alarm went off on the Sunday morning at 0730. There is no evacuation policy in place, no staff came out to check if all the guest were out.
I had to go back in and they said it was a glitch in their system, then I asked if we could come back in. This needs to be addressed
The accommodation was very clean and well provisioned tea & coffee etc. Some rooms were still in the process of being updated to a high standard. The “Full Welsh Breakfast” was great and we ate dinner here as well. Staff were very welcoming and parking was no problem.
Last time I stayed was 10 years ago. What an improvement.
