Had a good experience overall. The location was clean, comfortable, and a 5 minute walk to the temple. Restaurants are also about 7 minute walking distance. Host was accommodating and provided things that we asked for. Just one thing to note, the host asked for an advanced payment of a small amount of the room rate a couple days before we traveled which was hard for us as we do not live in India and did not have the means to pay. Luckily, my family who lives in India was able to arrange the payment through the back, otherwise we were afraid the room would be cancelled if we did not do that. I would not mind making a pre payment through Booking.com, however, that was not an option. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and felt safe.

I had a very nice stay at this homestay. The location is just 2 minutes away from the temple, which is incredibly convenient. When we reached the homestay, our car tire got punctured, and Bala and his friend were extremely helpful in changing the tire despite the super hot climate. I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for very clean accommodation near the temple.

Proximity to the temple, cleanliness. It's a brand new house and a great value for a full apartment at your disposal.
A fully furnished kitchen with an RO system was a plus.
Nothing in particular about the place itself. Just disappointed that the whole town of Rameshwaram is so crowded and dirty.
