Lovely place, friendly staff, especially Ted!! Clean tidy, beautiful old rooms, lovely breakfast. Massive car park.
The price of the beer, £7.10 for a pint of Peroni.
Great location for Alton Towers, great food, air con was a life saver in the heat wave
Shower head lets the room down
Convenient location with friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast
Water in the flask at breakfast was only warm, not hot
Old and very unique
Good staff
We had a good choice food for breakfast very good.
Two things the shower fitting didn't stay in place it kept sliding down the mounting rail.I told the duty staff they tried to fix it but they couldn't so we had to make do.
The TV remote didn't work properly gave up in end, we forgot to tell the staff about the remote.
Old English pub.
Nil.
Great value for money, very friendly and helpful people
The location
The room was very tired and in need of decoration. The bathroom in particular was not great with lots of broken tiles and thick silicone filler everywhere.
It would have been fine if it had been a better price but it was the most expensive place we stayed in during our short break and was by far the least memorable.
Nice gaff. Lovely rooms.
Good pub accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for the antique fair at Uttoxeter Racecourse
The bedroom lighting could be better. No bedside lamp on one side making it difficult for a bedtime read.
Breakfast was great, excellent selection and fresh
