Very friendly staff, but:
the rooms don’t have balconies
iinstead of air conditioning, there is an air cooler, which is inefficient and very noisy
no spa, no self service brakfast
The first room we got was facing the neighboring building, and there were fire escape stairs right outside the window. Next room was better.
But, Saturday night extremly noisy outside, no sleep till 4.30 a.m.
Wonderful service from the staff who welcome you with a traditional Bhutanese khata (scarf) and welcome drink. The room itself was large and well-appointed. Great location in the bustling heart of Thimphu, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The restaurant serves a small selection of Bhutanese dishes which were delicious.
Location is central, the staff is very courteous and the food is good too.
The staff were very friendly, warm and gave us a lot of help and we were pleased to meet them.
BUT the hotel is a business and should be reviewed from the perspective of the owner/management which is unfortunately a different story ...
We think it is reprehensible and dishonest of the management not to inform guests in advance that there are extensive building works in the hotel (the ground floor is a shell) which are noisy and continue into the evening. Contrary to the description the rooms do not proof the sound in any way. There is also a heater but no a/c. The hotel does have a portable a/c machine but it is extremely noisy. For guests who need air due to the low The result is poor sleep quality.
We had booked directly with the hotel not via a guide and were one of only a very few guests staying. Clearly local guides were avoiding the hotel during the renovation.
The chef was unable correctly to cook western fried breakfast (to the extent that the breakfast did not take long to regurgitate).
Great food, kind personnel, cleanliness perfect.
Still under construction in February, a little noisy in the evening (karaoke party nearby), but it was all acceptable.
This hotel perfectly combines modern luxury with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Hotel is located in city centre where is very close to the shops and restaurants.

Great value for money.
They are yet to finish the entire building up, but once it is done I think they will improve on general operations. One negative is that the windows are really thin and there are plenty karaoke places around. Earplugs recommended.

Everything I like most
Hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town. Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was modern and clean with reliable hot water.
Bedside lights plug in behind the centre of the bed, so you keep accidentally turning them off just by leaning back if sitting up in bed.
Heater was poorly located in room so the entrance area stayed hot but I was seriously cold in bed.
I am a light sleeper and music from surrounding bars was very annoying at night and kept me awake, especially the karaoke bars where you get a loud burst of sound when someone opens the door to go out for a smoke or whatever. Saturday night was particularly bad, but I had disturbed sleep every night, and I was on the top floor.
Was only told on checkout that there is a charge of over 3% to use a card for paying the bill.

Staff are very friendly rooms are nice, clean and spacious, The facilities, tea, coffee, heaters were working very well.
Staff pay very attention on our request and arranged my early breakfast and airport pickup exactly on time

The food was great. We enjoyed the tomato soup, chicken masala with roti and aloo Paratha.
